It contains both the World English Bible and Telugu Bible, tailored Text-To-Speech (tts) software technology.

World English Bible

World English Bible - History

The World English Bible came about in order to provide a complete translation of the Holy Bible in normal modern English that can provide unrestricted free posting on the internet and also be freely copied without written permission from the publisher and payment of royalties. No other Bible is thus available and this is the vacuum that the World English Bible is filling. Under the guidance of Rainbow Missions, Inc., a Colorado nonprofit corporation, scores of volunteer translators, editors and proofreaders have produced the WEB. The World English Bible is an update of the American Standard Version of 1901, which is in the Public Domain. The WEB revision is also in the Public Domain, which sets it apart from other revisions of the American Standard Version, like the New American Standard Bible and the Revised Standard Version. There is also the World English Bible: Messianic Edition that substitutes traditional Hebrew names and phrases for the equivalent Greek/English names and phrases.

World English Bible - Translation method

The translation method of the World English Bible is primarily that of formal equivalence (word for word), and is based on the 1901 American Standard Version, the Greek Majority Text, and the Hebrew Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia. The process consists of seven passes of editing and proofreading for each book of the Bible. An initial automated pass updated approximately 1,000 archaic words and phrases. The first manual pass was to add quotation marks (the ASV had none) and other punctuation, and to check the translation against the Greek and Hebrew texts where there are significant textual variants or the meaning is unclear. The WEB does not capitalize deity pronouns, but does use the original Hebrew Yahweh when rendering the tetragrammaton. The World English Bible also includes the Apocrypha/Deuterocanonical books.

World English Bible - Pro’s and Con’s

The World English Bible is to be commended for being a modern, free, and Public Domain English translation of the Bible. Overall, the WEB is a very good translation, sticking closely to formal equivalence in most instances. If there is a downside to the WEB, it is that it is not always in the most natural-sounding and free-flowing English, likely due to the WEB going with as literal renderings as possible. The lack of availability of the WEB in print form has hindered its adoption by the Christian community at large.

Our Bible Introduction

Gods word is surely the most wonderful and astounding text given mankind throughout all time. Only a thourough study of it can unlock its secrets. We believe it is critical, not just in this time and age, to understand Gods nature. At present everything seems to be upside down, where good is bad and bad is good. Our direction and compass is knowing God wrote His word to stand the test of time since He clearly wrote it prophetically, seeing the end from the beginning. How do we know? We know because He has confirmed many of the events that are happening in the world and have happened even within our own small lifespan. God has spoken of and prophecied about world wide events in The Bible and these prophecies are unique. You will not find anything like The Bible on planet Earth with such mindblowing accuracy and precision. But on a smaller level, each man and woman needs to make up their mind and walk out that which God tells them. That is when we have the signs and wonders following, by acting upon and putting our trust in The word of God, The Bible. It is indeed written that Jesus Christ is the author of our faith and what more can we ask for. I have personally seen people healed from incurable sicknesses such as HIV. Through the authority Jesus gave us I have cast out Demons, seen metal disappear from a body and be replaced with normal bones. I have set people free from the smallest sickness to terminal sickness and I can testify of the immense joy that follows a battle fought and won! There are many witnesses of the signs and wonders that will happen to anyone who choose to believe God and dares to walk the talk. Surely, The Body of Christ is active and alive and God is good to His children! But we need to heed His word and seek the knowledge He has for us. Not just through the word, but through closeness with God and active fellowship with our brothers and sisters. The Holy Spirit will always confirm The Truth that Jesus Christ of Nazareth wants to share with us.

But do not just take this for granted. Gods word can surely be dug into, tested, verified and found worthy. But for you to incorporate it into your life and see the reality of it, requires faith. Living faith, not dead faith. A heartbeat at a time, day by day, feeding upon The Word of God and enjoying the fruit of The Spirit. When we ask God, pursuit the truth He has set before us, He will surely answer in time. Do not think it will lead you to nowhere, cause it will not. This is not just some senseless gong ho as unbelievers will have it, sprinkled with nice stories of miracles and what not. Far from it. We have seen this time and time again. The truth is singular and our creator is true and The One and only I AM. There are no multiple Gods here, that is a lie from the devil. Neither is God a floating self-aware entity made up by every living being. Earth, or Gaia as many calls it is a fiction and a fairytale. How we have stumbled, fallen and seen death all around us, but never did it enlighten us until Jesus Christ of Nazareth came and showed us the truth and nothing but the truth. He is surely the way, the truth and the life. Unless a person walks it out according to Gods knowledge, that person will continue sleepwalking until the very end. Such an end would be sad to say the least. Wake up now and taste the goodness of God and draw close to Him and He will draw close to you! And if you have already woken up, but are walking around feeling sleepy: *fight* in order to not fall asleep again, seek Father with all your heart, mind and soul and be vigilant in doing so! Even so, I must admit I have no clue as to how God has managed to put together The Bible in the way He has. To my own intellect I looked at The Bible as flawed, beyond repair and full of tairytales. But that was before I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and experienced the power of God through an evangelist who took The Bible literal. The signs and wonders have not stopped since. Not because of me, but because God never changes and He has clearly showed that He wants everyone saved! Hands down, this is the best news I have ever heard and experienced! Love your God with all your heart, with all your might and everthing you are and you will surely conquer whatever comes against you, no matter the size or seeming severity. God seeks your heart, your attention and your affection. Through Him you will overcome the desires and the lusts of this world and live a life of abundance into eternity.

Please forgive me for being so blunt and straight forward. I sincerely wish for you all to be and walk in the blessing God has for you. Some of you are even walking in what feels like a desert, but remember that God will chastise those He loves. Not because He hates us, on the contrary. He is our Father if we let Him, and He will always see to it that as long as we listen to Him we will carry more fruit. And sometimes a time in the desert is needed. Even so, please fear not, because God is surely on your side when you seek Him with all your heart. Surely nothing is impossible with our Father in heaven. If He has spoken it will come to pass! All Glory to God!!

Genesis 1 :1

web In the beginning God{After God, the Hebrew has the two letters Aleph Tav (the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet) as a grammatical marker.} created the heavens and the earth.

tel ఆదియందు దేవుడు భూమ్యాకాశములను సృజించెను.

Genesis 1 :2

web Now the earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep. God's Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.

tel భూమి నిరాకారముగాను శూన్యముగాను ఉండెను; చీకటి అగాధ జలము పైన కమ్మియుండెను; దేవుని ఆత్మ జలములపైన అల్లాడుచుండెను.

web God said, Let there be light, and there was light.

tel దేవుడు వెలుగు కమ్మని పలుకగా వెలుగు కలిగెను.

web God saw the light, and saw that it was good. God divided the light from the darkness.

web God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse, and it was so.

tel దేవుడు ఆ విశాలము చేసి విశాలము క్రింది జలములను విశాలము మీది జలములను వేరుపరపగా ఆ ప్రకారమాయెను.

web God called the expanse sky. There was evening and there was morning, a second day.

tel దేవుడు ఆ విశాలమునకు ఆకాశమని పేరు పెట్టెను. అస్తమయమును ఉదయమును కలుగగా రెండవ దినమాయెను.

web God said, Let the waters under the sky be gathered together to one place, and let the dry land appear, and it was so.

tel దేవుడుఆకాశము క్రిందనున్న జలము లొకచోటనే కూర్చబడి ఆరిన నేల కనబడును గాకని పలుకగా ఆ ప్రకారమాయెను.

web God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters he called Seas. God saw that it was good.

tel దేవుడు ఆరిన నేలకు భూమి అని పేరు పెట్టెను, జలరాశికి ఆయన సముద్రములని పేరు పెట్టెను, అది మంచిదని దేవుడు చూచెను.

web God said, Let the earth put forth grass, herbs yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit after their kind, with its seed in it, on the earth, and it was so.

tel దేవుడుగడ్డిని విత్తనములిచ్చు చెట్లను భూమిమీద తమ తమ జాతి ప్రకారము తమలో విత్తనములుగల ఫలమిచ్చు ఫలవృక్షములను భూమి మొలిపించుగాకని పలుకగా ఆ ప్రకార మాయెను.

web The earth brought forth grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, with its seed in it, after their kind: and God saw that it was good.

tel భూమి గడ్డిని తమ తమ జాతి ప్రకారము విత్తనములిచ్చు చెట్లను, తమ తమ జాతి ప్రకారము తమలో విత్తనములుగల ఫలవృక్షములను మొలిపింపగా అది మంచిదని దేవుడు చూచెను

tel దేవుడుపగటిని రాత్రిని వేరుపరచునట్లు ఆకాశవిశాల మందు జ్యోతులు కలుగును గాకనియు, అవి సూచనలను కాలములను దిన సంవత్సరములను సూచించుటకై యుండు గాకనియు,

web and let them be for lights in the expanse of sky to give light on the earth," and it was so.

tel భూమిమీద వెలుగిచ్చుటకు అవి ఆకాశ విశాలమందు జ్యోతులై యుండు గాకనియు పలికెను; ఆ ప్రకారమాయెను.

Genesis 1 :16

web God made the two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He also made the stars.

tel దేవుడు ఆ రెండు గొప్ప జ్యోతులను, అనగా పగటిని ఏలుటకు పెద్ద జ్యోతిని రాత్రిని ఏలుటకు చిన్న జ్యోతిని నక్షత్రములను చేసెను.

web God set them in the expanse of sky to give light to the earth,

tel భూమిమీద వెలు గిచ్చుటకును

web and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. God saw that it was good.

tel పగటిని రాత్రిని ఏలుటకును వెలుగును చీక టిని వేరుపరచుటకును దేవుడు ఆకాశ విశాలమందు వాటి నుంచెను; అది మంచిదని దేవుడు చూచెను.

web God said, Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of sky.

tel దేవుడుజీవముకలిగి చలించువాటిని జలములు సమృ ద్ధిగా పుట్టించును గాకనియు, పక్షులు భూమిపైని ఆకాశ విశాలములో ఎగురును గాకనియు పలికెను.

web God created the large sea creatures, and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed, after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind. God saw that it was good.

tel దేవుడు జల ములలో వాటి వాటి జాతి ప్రకారము జలములు సమృద్ధిగా పుట్టించిన మహా మత్స్యములను, జీవముకలిగి చలించు వాటినన్నిటిని, దాని దాని జాతి ప్రకారము రెక్కలుగల ప్రతి పక్షిని సృజించెను. అది మంచిదని దేవుడు చూచెను.

web God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.

tel దేవుడు మీరు ఫలించి అభివృద్ధిపొంది సముద్ర జలములలో నిండి యుండుడనియు, పక్షులు భూమిమీద విస్తరించును గాకనియు, వాటిని ఆశీర్వ దించెను.

web There was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.

tel అస్తమయమును ఉదయమును కలుగగా అయి దవ దినమాయెను.

web God said, Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind, cattle, creeping things, and animals of the earth after their kind, and it was so.

tel దేవుడు వాటి వాటి జాతి ప్రకారము జీవముగల వాటిని, అనగా వాటి వాటి జాతి ప్రకారము పశువులను పురుగులను అడవి జంతువులను భూమి పుట్టించుగాకని పలి కెను; ఆప్రకారమాయెను.

web God made the animals of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind. God saw that it was good.

tel దేవుడు ఆ యా జాతుల ప్రకారము అడవి జంతువులను, ఆ యా జాతుల ప్రకారము పశువులను, ఆ యా జాతుల ప్రకారము నేలను ప్రాకు ప్రతి పురుగును చేసెను. అదిమంచిదని దేవుడు చూచెను.

web God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

tel దేవుడు మన స్వరూపమందు మన పోలికె చొప్పున నరులను చేయుదము; వారుసముద్రపు చేపలను ఆకాశ పక్షులను పశువులను సమస్త భూమిని భూమిమీద ప్రాకు ప్రతి జంతువును ఏలుదురుగాకనియు పలికెను.

web God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him; male and female he created them.

tel దేవుడు తన స్వరూపమందు నరుని సృజించెను; దేవుని స్వరూపమందు వాని సృజించెను; స్త్రీనిగాను పురు షునిగాను వారిని సృజించెను.

web God blessed them. God said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.

tel దేవుడు వారిని ఆశీర్వ దించెను; ఎట్లనగామీరు ఫలించి అభివృద్ధిపొంది విస్తరించి భూమిని నిండించి దానిని లోపరచుకొనుడి; సముద్రపు చేపలను ఆకాశ పక్షులను భూమిమీద ప్రాకు ప్రతి జీవిని ఏలుడని దేవుడు వారితో చెప్పెను.

web God said, "Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree, which bears fruit yielding seed. It will be your food.

tel దేవుడు ఇదిగో భూమిమీదనున్న విత్తనములిచ్చు ప్రతి చెట్టును విత్తనములిచ్చు వృక్షఫలముగల ప్రతి వృక్ష మును మీ కిచ్చి యున్నాను; అవి మీ కాహారమగును.

Genesis 1 :30

web To every animal of the earth, and to every bird of the sky, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food." And it was so.

tel భూమిమీదనుండు జంతువులన్నిటికిని ఆకాశ పక్షులన్నిటికిని భూమిమీద ప్రాకు సమస్త జీవులకును పచ్చని చెట్లన్నియు ఆహారమగునని పలికెను. ఆ ప్రకారమాయెను.

Genesis 2 :1

web The heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

tel ఆకాశమును భూమియు వాటిలోనున్న సమస్త సమూ హమును సంపూర్తి చేయబడెను.

Genesis 2 :2

web On the seventh day God finished his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

tel దేవుడు తాను చేసిన తనపని యేడవదినములోగా సంపూర్తిచేసి, తాను చేసిన తన పని యంతటినుండి యేడవ దినమున విశ్రమించెను.

Genesis 2 :3

web God blessed the seventh day, and made it holy, because he rested in it from all his work which he had created and made.

tel కాబట్టి దేవుడు ఆ యేడవ దినమును ఆశీర్వదించి పరిశుద్ధపరచెను; ఏలయనగా దానిలో దేవుడు తాను చేసినట్టియు, సృజించి నట్టియు తన పని అంతటినుండి విశ్రమించెను.

web This is the history of the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that Yahweh God made earth and the heavens.

tel అదివరకు పొలమందలియే పొదయు భూమిమీద నుండలేదు. పొలమందలి యే చెట్టును మొలవలేదు; ఏలయనగా దేవుడైన యెహోవా భూమిమీద వాన కురిపించలేదు, నేలను సేద్యపరచుటక

web but a mist went up from the earth, and watered the whole surface of the ground.

tel అయితే ఆవిరి భూమినుండి లేచి నేల అంత టిని తడిపెను.

web Yahweh God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

tel దేవుడైన యెహోవా నేలమంటితో నరుని నిర్మించి వాని నాసికా రంధ్రములలో జీవవాయువును ఊదగా నరుడు జీవాత్మ ఆయెను.

web Yahweh God planted a garden eastward, in Eden, and there he put the man whom he had formed.

tel దేవుడైన యెహోవా తూర్పున ఏదెనులో ఒక తోటవేసి తాను నిర్మించిన నరుని దానిలో ఉంచెను.

web Out of the ground Yahweh God made every tree to grow that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

web A river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it was parted, and became four heads.

web The name of the first is Pishon: this is the one which flows through the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;

Genesis 3 :1

web Now the serpent was more subtle than any animal of the field which Yahweh God had made. He said to the woman, Yes, has God said, 'You shall not eat of any tree of the garden?'

tel దేవుడైన యెహోవా చేసిన సమస్త భూజంతు వులలో సర్పము యుక్తిగలదై యుండెను. అది ఆ స్త్రీతోఇది నిజమా? ఈ తోట చెట్లలో దేని ఫలముల నైనను మీరు తినకూడదని దేవుడు చెప్పెనా? అని అడి గెను.

web The woman said to the serpent, "Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat,

web but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.'"

web The man said, I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

web God said, Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?

tel అందుకాయననీవు దిగంబరివని నీకు తెలిపినవాడెవడు? నీవు తినకూడదని నేను నీ కాజ్ఞా పించిన వృక్షఫలములు తింటివా? అని అడిగెను.

web The man said, The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.

tel అందుకు ఆదామునాతో నుండుటకు నీవు నాకిచ్చిన ఈ స్త్రీయే ఆ వృక్షఫలములు కొన్ని నా కియ్యగా నేను తింటిననెను.

web Yahweh God said to the woman, What is this you have done? The woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate.

web Yahweh God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, cursed are you above all cattle, and above every animal of the field. On your belly shall you go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life.

web I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel."

web To the woman he said, I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth. In pain you will bring forth children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.

web By the sweat of your face will you eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For you are dust, and to dust you shall return."

tel నీవు నేలకు తిరిగి చేరువరకు నీ ముఖపు చెమట కార్చి ఆహారము తిందువు; ఏల యనగా నేలనుండి నీవు తీయబడితివి; నీవు మన్నే గనుక తిరిగి మన్నైపోదువని చెప్పెను.

web The man called his wife Eve, because she was the mother of all living.

web Yahweh God made coats of skins for Adam and for his wife, and clothed them.

web Therefore Yahweh God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

web So he drove out the man; and he placed Cherubs at the east of the garden of Eden, and the flame of a sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

Genesis 4 :1

web The man knew Eve his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Cain, and said, I have gotten a man with Yahweh's help.

tel ఆదాము తన భార్యయైన హవ్వను కూడినప్పుడు ఆమె గర్భవతియై కయీనును కనియెహోవా దయవలన నేనొక మనుష్యుని సంపాదించుకొన్నాననెను.

Genesis 4 :2

web Again she gave birth, to Cain's brother Abel. Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

tel తరువాత ఆమె అతని తమ్ముడగు హేబెలును కనెను. హేబెలు గొఱ్ఱల కాపరి; కయీను భూమిని సేద్యపరచువాడు.

Genesis 4 :3

web As time passed, it happened that Cain brought an offering to Yahweh from the fruit of the ground.

web Abel also brought some of the firstborn of his flock and of the fat of it. Yahweh respected Abel and his offering,

web but he didn't respect Cain and his offering. Cain was very angry, and the expression on his face fell.

web Yahweh said to Cain, "Why are you angry? Why has the expression of your face fallen?

Genesis 4 :7

web If you do well, will it not be lifted up? If you don't do well, sin crouches at the door. Its desire is for you, but you are to rule over it."

tel నీవు సత్క్రియ చేసిన యెడల తలనెత్తుకొనవా? సత్క్రియ చేయనియెడల వాకిట పాపము పొంచియుండును; నీ యెడల దానికి వాంఛ కలుగును నీవు దానిని ఏలుదువనెను.

Genesis 4 :8

web Cain said to Abel, his brother, Let's go into the field. It happened, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel, his brother, and killed him.

tel కయీను తన తమ్ముడైన హేబెలుతో మాటలాడెను. వారు పొలములో ఉన్నప్పుడు కయీను తన తమ్ముడైన హేబెలు మీద పడి అతనిని చంపెను.

web Yahweh said to Cain, Where is Abel, your brother? He said, I don't know. Am I my brother's keeper?

web Yahweh said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries to me from the ground.

Genesis 4 :11

web Now you are cursed because of the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand.

tel కావున నీ తమ్ముని రక్తమును నీ చేతిలోనుండి పుచ్చుకొనుటకు నోరు తెరచిన యీ నేలమీద ఉండకుండ, నీవు శపింప బడినవాడవు;

Genesis 4 :12

web From now on, when you till the ground, it won't yield its strength to you. You shall be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth."

tel నీవు నేలను సేద్యపరుచునప్పుడు అది తన సారమును ఇక మీదట నీకియ్యదు; నీవు భూమిమీద దిగులు పడుచు దేశదిమ్మరివై యుందువనెను.

web Cain said to Yahweh, "My punishment is greater than I can bear.

tel అందుకు కయీనునా దోషశిక్ష నేను భరింపలేనంత గొప్పది.

Genesis 4 :14

web Behold, you have driven me out this day from the surface of the ground. I will be hidden from your face, and I will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth. It will happen that whoever finds me will kill me."

tel నేడు ఈ ప్రదేశమునుండి నన్ను వెళ్లగొట్టితివి; నీ సన్నిధికి రాకుండ వెలివేయబడి దిగులుపడుచు భూమిమీద దేశదిమ్మరినై యుందును. కావున నన్ను కనుగొనువాడెవడో వాడు నన్ను చంపునని యెహోవాతో అనెను.

Genesis 4 :15

web Yahweh said to him, Therefore whoever slays Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold. Yahweh appointed a sign for Cain, lest any finding him should strike him.

tel అందుకు యెహోవా అతనితోకాబట్టి యెవడైనను కయీనును చంపినయెడల వానికి ప్రతిదండన యేడంతలు కలుగుననెను. మరియు ఎవడైనను కయీనును కనుగొని అతనిని చంపక యుండున

web Cain went out from Yahweh's presence, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

Genesis 4 :17

web Cain knew his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Enoch. He built a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

tel కయీను తన భార్యను కూడినప్పుడు ఆమె గర్భవతియై హనోకును కనెను. అప్పుడతడు ఒక ఊరు కట్టించి ఆ ఊరికి తన కుమారుని పేరునుబట్టి హనోకను పేరు పెట్టెను.

web To Enoch was born Irad. Irad became the father of Mehujael. Mehujael became the father of Methushael. Methushael became the father of Lamech.

tel హనోకుకు ఈరాదు పుట్టెను. ఈరాదు మహూయాయేలును కనెను. మహూయాయేలు మతూషా యేలును కనెను. మతూషాయేలు లెమెకును కనెను.

web Lamech took two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.

web Adah gave birth to Jabal, who was the father of those who dwell in tents and have cattle.

web His brother's name was Jubal, who was the father of all who handle the harp and pipe.

web Zillah also gave birth to Tubal Cain, the forger of every cutting instrument of brass and iron. Tubal Cain's sister was Naamah.

web Adam knew his wife again. She gave birth to a son, and named him Seth. For, she said, God has appointed me another child instead of Abel, for Cain killed him.

Genesis 5 :1

web This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, he made him in God's likeness.

web He created them male and female, and blessed them, and called their name Adam,{Adam and Man are spelled with the exact same consonants in Hebrew, so this can be correctly translated either way.} in the day when they were created.

Genesis 6 :1

web It happened, when men began to multiply on the surface of the ground, and daughters were born to them,

web Yahweh said, My Spirit will not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; yet will his days be one hundred twenty years.

Genesis 6 :6

web Yahweh was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart.

Genesis 6 :7

web Yahweh said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the surface of the ground; man, along with animals, creeping things, and birds of the sky; for I am sorry that I have made them.

tel అప్పుడు యెహోవా నేను సృజించిన నరులును నరులతోకూడ జంతువులును పురుగులును ఆకాశ పక్ష్యాదులును భూమిమీద నుండకుండ తుడిచివేయుదును; ఏలయనగా నేను వారిని సృష్టించి

web But Noah found favor in Yahweh's eyes.

Genesis 6 :9

web This is the history of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time. Noah walked with God.

tel నోవహు వంశావళి యిదే. నోవహు నీతిపరుడును తన తరములో నిందారహితుడునై యుండెను. నోవహు దేవునితో కూడ నడచినవాడు.

Genesis 6 :10

web Noah became the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

tel షేము, హాము, యాపెతను ముగ్గురు కుమారులను నోవహు కనెను.

Genesis 6 :11

web The earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

tel భూలోకము దేవుని సన్నిధిని చెడిపోయియుండెను; భూలోకము బలాత్కారముతో నిండియుండెను.

Genesis 6 :12

web God saw the earth, and saw that it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

tel దేవుడు భూలోకమును చూచినప్పుడు అది చెడిపోయి యుండెను; భూమిమీద సమస్త శరీరులు తమ మార్గమును చెరిపివేసుకొని యుండిరి.

web God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before me, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

tel దేవుడు నోవహుఱోసమస్త శరీరుల మూలముగా భూమి బలాత్కారముతో నిండియున్నది గనుక నా సన్నిధిని వారి అంతము వచ్చియున్నది; ఇదిగో వారిని భూమితోకూడ నాశనము చేయుదును.

Genesis 6 :14

web Make an ark of gopher wood. You shall make rooms in the ark, and shall seal it inside and outside with pitch.

tel చితిసారకపు మ్రానుతో నీకొరకు ఓడను చేసికొనుము. అరలు పెట్టి ఆ ఓడను చేసి లోపటను వెలుపటను దానికి కీలు పూయ వలెను.

Genesis 6 :15

web This is how you shall make it. The length of the ark will be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

tel నీవు దాని చేయవలసిన విధమిది; ఆ ఓడ మూడువందల మూరల పొడుగును ఏబది మూరల వెడల్పును ముప్పది మూరల యెత్తును గలదై యుండ వలెను.

Genesis 6 :16

web You shall make a roof in the ark, and to a cubit shall you finish it upward. You shall set the door of the ark in the side of it. You shall make it with lower, second, and third levels.

tel ఆ ఓడకు కిటికీ చేసి పైనుండి మూరెడు క్రిందికి దాని ముగించవలెను; ఓడ తలుపు దాని ప్రక్కను ఉంచవలెను; క్రింది అంతస్థు రెండవ అంతస్థు మూడవ అంతస్థు గలదిగా దాని చేయవలెను.

web I, even, I do bring the flood of waters on this earth, to destroy all flesh having the breath of life from under the sky. Everything that is in the earth will die.

tel ఇదిగో నేనే జీవ వాయువుగల సమస్త శరీరులను ఆకాశము క్రింద నుండ కుండ నాశము చేయుటకు భూమిమీదికి జలప్రవాహము రప్పించుచున్నాను. లోకమందున్న సమస్తమును చని పోవును;

web But I will establish my covenant with you. You shall come into the ark, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons' wives with you.

tel అయితే నీతో నా నిబంధన స్థిరపరచుదును; నీవును నీతోకూడ నీ కుమారులును నీ భార్యయు నీ కోడండ్రును ఆ ఓడలో ప్రవేశింపవలెను.

web Of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you. They shall be male and female.

tel మరియు నీతోకూడ వాటిని బ్రదికించి యుంచుకొనుటకు సమస్త జీవులలో, అనగా సమస్త శరీరులయొక్క ప్రతి జాతిలో నివి రెండేసి చొప్పున నీవు ఓడలోనికి తేవలెను; వాటిలో మగదియు ఆడుదియు నుండవలెను.

web Of the birds after their kind, of the cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every sort shall come to you, to keep them alive.

tel నీవు వాటిని బ్రది కించి యుంచుకొనుటకై వాటి వాటి జాతుల ప్రకారము పక్షులలోను, వాటి వాటి జాతుల ప్రకారము జంతువుల లోను, వాటి వాటి జాతుల ప్రకారము నేలను ప్రాకు వాటన్నిటిలోను, ప్రతి జాతిలో రెండేసి చొప్పున నీ యొద్దకు అవి వచ్చును.

Genesis 6 :21

web Take with you of all food that is eaten, and gather it to you; and it will be for food for you, and for them."

tel మరియు తినుటకు నానావిధములైన ఆహారపదార్థములను కూర్చుకొని నీదగ్గర ఉంచు కొనుము; అవి నీకును వాటికిని ఆహారమగునని చెప్పెను.

web Thus Noah did. According to all that God commanded him, so he did.

Genesis 7 :1

web Yahweh said to Noah, "Come with all of your household into the ark, for I have seen your righteousness before me in this generation.

tel యెహోవాఈ తరమువారిలో నీవే నా యెదుట నీతి మంతుడవై యుండుట చూచితిని గనుక నీవును నీ యింటి వారును ఓడలో ప్రవేశించుడి.

Genesis 7 :2

web You shall take seven pairs of every clean animal with you, the male and his female. Of the animals that are not clean, take two, the male and his female.

tel పవిత్ర జంతువులలో ప్రతి జాతి పోతులు ఏడును పెంటులు ఏడును, పవిత్రములు కాని జంతువులలో ప్రతి జాతి పోతును పెంటియు రెండును

Genesis 7 :3

web Also of the birds of the sky, seven and seven, male and female, to keep seed alive on the surface of all the earth.

tel ఆకాశ పక్షులలో ప్రతి జాతి మగవి యేడును ఆడువి యేడును, నీవు భూమి అంతటిమీద సంతతిని జీవ ముతో కాపాడునట్లు నీయొద్ద ఉంచుకొనుము;

web In seven days, I will cause it to rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights. Every living thing that I have made, I will destroy from the surface of the ground."

web Noah did everything that Yahweh commanded him.

Genesis 7 :6

web Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came on the earth.

tel ఆ జలప్రవాహము భూమిమీదికి వచ్చినప్పుడు నోవహు ఆరువందల యేండ్లవాడు.

Genesis 7 :7

web Noah went into the ark with his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives, because of the waters of the flood.

tel మగది ఆడుది జతజతలుగా ఓడలోనున్న నోవహు నొద్దకు చేరెను.

Genesis 7 :10

web It happened after the seven days, that the waters of the flood came on the earth.

tel ఏడు దినములైన తరువాత ఆ ప్రవాహజలములు భూమిమీదికి వచ్చెను.

Genesis 7 :11

web In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day all the fountains of the great deep were burst open, and the sky's windows were opened.

web The rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.

Genesis 7 :13

web In the same day Noah, and Shem, Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, entered into the ark;

tel ఆ దినమందే నోవహును నోవహు కుమారులగు షేమును హామును యాపెతును నోవహు భార్యయు వారితోకూడ అతని ముగ్గురు కోడండ్రును ఆ ఓడలో ప్రవేశించిరి.

web they, and every animal after its kind, all the cattle after their kind, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, every bird of every sort.

tel వీరే కాదు; ఆ యా జాతుల ప్రకారము ప్రతి మృగమును, ఆ యా జాతుల ప్రకారము ప్రతి పశువును, ఆ యా జాతుల ప్రకారము నేలమీద ప్రాకు ప్రతి పురుగును, ఆ యా జాతుల ప్రకారము ప్రతి పక్షియు, నానావిధములైన రెక్కలుగల ప్రతి పిట్టయు ప్రవేశించెను.

Genesis 7 :15

web They went to Noah into the ark, by pairs of all flesh with the breath of life in them.

tel జీవాత్మగల సమస్త శరీరులలో రెండేసి రెండేసి ఓడలోనున్న నోవహు నొద్ద ప్రవేశించెను.

Genesis 7 :16

web Those who went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God commanded him; and Yahweh shut him in.

tel ప్రవేశించినవన్నియు దేవుడు అతని కాజ్ఞాపించిన ప్రకారము సమస్త శరీరులలో మగదియు ఆడుదియు ప్రవేశించెను; అప్పుడు యెహోవా ఓడలో అతని మూసివేసెను.

Genesis 7 :17

web The flood was forty days on the earth. The waters increased, and lifted up the ark, and it was lifted up above the earth.

tel ఆ జలప్రవాహము నలుబది దినములు భూమిమీద నుండగా, జలములు విస్తరించి ఓడను తేలచేసినందున అది భూమిమీదనుండి పైకి లేచెను.

web The waters prevailed, and increased greatly on the earth; and the ark floated on the surface of the waters.

web The waters prevailed exceedingly on the earth. All the high mountains that were under the whole sky were covered.

web The waters prevailed fifteen cubits upward, and the mountains were covered.

tel పదిహేను మూరల యెత్తున నీళ్లు ప్రచండముగా ప్రబలెను గనుక పర్వతములును మునిగి పోయెను.

Genesis 7 :21

web All flesh died that moved on the earth, including birds, cattle, animals, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man.

tel అప్పుడు పక్షులేమి పశువులేమి మృగములేమి భూమిమీద ప్రాకు పురుగులేమి భూమిమీద సంచరించు సమస్త శరీరులేమి సమస్త నరులేమి చచ్చిపోయిరి.

Genesis 7 :22

web All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, of all that was on the dry land, died.

tel పొడి నేలమీదనున్న వాటన్నిటిలోను నాసికారంధ్రములలో జీవాత్మ సంబంధమైన ఊపిరిగలవన్నియు చని పోయెను.

Genesis 7 :23

web Every living thing was destroyed that was on the surface of the ground, including man, cattle, creeping things, and birds of the sky. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ark.
