    nhe In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

    nhe Now the earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep. God's Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.

    nhe God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him; male and female he created them.

    nhe God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed, which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree, which bears fruit yielding seed. It will be your food.

    kar És monda Isten: Ímé néktek adok minden maghozó fûvet az egész föld színén, és minden fát, a melyen maghozó gyümölcs van; az legyen néktek eledelül.

    kjb And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

    nhe To every animal of the earth, and to every bird of the sky, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green plant for food." And it was so.

    kar A föld minden vadainak pedig, és az ég minden madarainak, és a földön csúszó-mászó mindenféle állatoknak, a melyekben élő lélek van, a zöld fûveket [adom] eledelûl. És úgy lőn.

    nhe The heavens and the earth were finished, and all their vast array.

    nhe The LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

    nhe The LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.

    Genesis 2 :19

    nhe Out of the ground the LORD God formed every animal of the field, and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. Whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name.

    kar És formált vala az Úr Isten a földből mindenféle mezei vadat, és mindenféle égi madarat, és elvivé az emberhez, hogy lássa, minek nevezze azokat; mert a mely nevet adott az ember az élő állatnak, az annak neve.

    nhe The man gave names to all the livestock, and to all the birds of the sky, and to every wild animal of the field; but for man there was not found a helper suitable for him.

    kar És nevet ada az ember minden baromnak, az ég madarainak, és minden mezei vadnak; de az embernek hozzá illő segítő társat nem talált vala.

    nhe The LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.

    nhe Now the serpent was more subtle than any animal of the field which the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, Has God really said, 'You shall not eat of any tree of the garden?'

    nhe The man knew Eve his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Cain, and said, I have gotten a man with the LORD's help.

    nhe Cain said to Abel, his brother, Let's go into the field. It happened when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel, his brother, and killed him.
