      Josh took it uncomprehendingly. It was rough to the touch, and he ran his fingers through it in innocent appreciation. A taste of what? he asked after a moment.

      Powerlessness.

      And then he realized that what was in his hand was a blindfold. He took in a sharp breath, looking down at it with renewed trepidation. But that electricity of Daniel's touch came again. Josh remembered that incredible feeling when he had thought he was, or at least could be, the thing Daniel wanted him to be.

      The thought of objecting never entered Josh's mind. All he wanted was that feeling again. All he wanted was to be whatever it was that had gotten him here.

      His fingers didn't even shake as he wound it once over his eyes, shutting out the light and surrendering himself to this man he only barely knew but had already come to trust so inexplicably and maybe inadvisably. He tied it with a firm knot against the back of his head.

      He felt Daniel's hand against his neck and in his hair, and then Daniel's lips were on his again, ushering him into his voluntary helplessness. He inhaled the rich scent of the man's body and tasted his mouth.
