The Fearless Writer

About this ebook
There is nothing more fulfilling than being a fearless writer. Not only will you be able to get more writing done, but you will also be happier and more fulfilled in your profession.
However, it can be difficult to become a fearless writer. Most writers find that they have something that they don’t feel quite confident enough about. This is such a shame given that writing can be the best profession even if we allow it to be and we cultivate it as we would a vocation instead of a job that is to be done and then left alone.
This doesn’t mean that you have to write 7 days a week, 8 hours a day. However, fearless writers do write 5 days a week, for at least 5 hours a day. They love writing and writing is something that becomes a part of their identity.
However, it is important for writing not to become part of your self-worth as a human being. If it does, than eventually you will become a fearful writer because when rejections start piling up as they do for all writers in different seasons of their writing career, you will feel awful and your self-esteem and self-confidence as a writer will plummet.
Let’s face it we are all fearful writers during different times of our lives. This goes without saying. It is part of being a writer. Writers are a sensitive bunch. Therefore, it isn’t inconceivable for us to be fearful and crippled by rejection and other things that are so much a part of the writer’s life.
Thus, to be most successful it is important to develop the habits of a fearless writer in order to become less fearful when those times inevitably fearful times appear in a writer’s life.
I believe that a writer’s fearful behaviors and attitudes can be divided into two kinds: Internal, and External fearfulness.
Therefore, I will divide this e-book into these two main segments. In the process, I will outline 10 internal and 10 external tips to avoid fearfulness. These tips will present hands-on ways to ensure that you are not fearful and that you become more authentic and fearless.
