About this ebook
I've been raped...multiple times.
I am not a victim; I’m a survivor. Here's my story...
Ordinary Abuse is Lilith Darville's unapologetic response about one of her characters. Throughout her teen years, Lilith Darville was sexually assaulted repeatedly--by her stepfather and neighbors. Through her eyes, we see a few of the horrifying secrets hidden behind the facade of a functional middle-class family. She tried to get help. No one believed her. They told her she asked for it. Lilith survived, and shows us her her strong sense of fierceness and vulnerability as she tells us why she will not consider herself a victim.

My graphic descriptions and language may trigger discomfort for those sensitive to child abuse, rape, and incest. I apologize if my story opens emotional wounds, but it must be told.

About Lilith Darville
Introduction
Welcome to a sex advice column for inquisitive readers of erotic/dark romance who want to dialogue about real-life stories. I'm not a doctor, but I've done a lot of research over the years and consult with experts. I answer natural curiosity about risk-aware consensual sex. If you’re looking for porn, you’ve come to the wrong place.
Like all children, I was curious about sex and had a bottomless well of questions—where do babies come from? Why do you like kissing? Why do I have to wear underwear to bed? Why does brother John’s penis grow in the bathtub? All questions that embarrassed the hell out of my caregivers and led me on a merry chase to verify a plethora of misinformation.
I should tell you the story about our first high school sex education class. The teacher, bless her blushing inhibited intentions, gave us a questionnaire asking what we wanted to learn about in her class. Well, you’ve already got the idea that I’m inquisitive. I asked what the size of a boy’s penis was—flaccid and hard. She only went purple in the face over one questionnaire—bets it was mine?! I lost twenty-five marks for insolence.
*sigh*
This curiosity and my love of reading almost anything in print led me to discover historical romances in high school. At least they referred to sex...sort of. I consumed everything I found on the shelves of the school and town libraries. I discovered a little more sizzle; but again, did real people do this stuff?
Thankfully, as an adult, more resources became available. My copy of The Kinsey Report literally fell apart from overuse. By this time
