    Rend The Heavens is a collection of Christian poems about crying out to God, interceding in prayer for our loved ones, and trusting God through the tough times as well as the good. It's about gratitude to our faithful Father - even in the face of human unfaithfulness. All glory be to God. Nehemiah 4:14 "And I looked, and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people, “Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”

    I am a poet and photographer and have written poetry since I was very young. Most of my poetry is about life in Africa, the continent I call home. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, I am aware that Zimbabweans have been scattered to the far ends of the earth, due to political and economic hardships here at home. Many of these displaced Zimbabweans relate to the word-pictures I paint of "home" and have asked me to publish my work. Child of Africa is my first e book. More will follow.
