About this ebook
Fate is not a trap set by unseen forces waiting for humanity to fall into it at the end of our road, neither is it fortune that the unknown reserve for the once they love and choose to favour, the actions of man, his thinking, and his choices all directly or indirectly or indirectly contribute to his fate.
Man is not an actor reliving or re-enacting a predestined script here on earth, he is the author writing on a plain broad sheet of paper, his own history.
King Ajaburu teaches that every action of man, brings back to him its direct equivalent consequence whether good or bad, and that man is the architect of his fate.

About the Author
ACT ONE:
Midnight. The palace of umungalla, no one insight except for King Ahamefula walking up and down lost in thought. One arm at his back, the other holding his chin. The serein is quite, everyone has retired for the night, even the palace dogs have answered natured call for rest.
Thrusting through the womb of the night from a distance is the sound of cowries and walking stick hitting against the ground. Ezeofia, the chief priest is approaching the palace. He is clad with a red rope from his head to his toes, a bead of cowries round his waist and on each ankle of his legs.
King Ahamefula sees Ezeofia, smiles in relief.
KING AHAMEFULA:{exhaling} ah! I greet you great one of the forest, please come in and sit down. (Motions to a seat nearby, Ezeofia remains unmoved)
EZEOFIAI have not come to sit King Ahamefula.
KING AHAMEFULA:Great one, the new yam is not eaten in a haste, it is the food for the gods.
EZEOFIA:Why have you summoned me King Ahamefula when even the gods are resting?
KING AHAMEFULA:(Laughing) But the gods do not snore, how then will they protect us from the evils of the night? (Ezeofia remains silent) Come and seat down great one, please. It is the desires of the heart that weighs the head down. (Ezeofia ignores the seat, make himself comfortable on the floor.) Let me bring you kola great one.
EZEOFIA:(clears his throat) mba! I don’t want.
KING AHAMEFULA:Shinap?
EZEOFIA:I said I don’t want. achum! (Both are silent) What can I do for you King Ahamefula?
KING AHAMEFULA:(sits down slowly) Great one. When a rat laughs at a cat, there is a hole nearby. I called you here because I need your help great one, I want Ajaburu dead!
EZEOFIA:Tufia! God forbid.
KING AHAMEFULA:great one, if you can do that for me or help me achieve it, I will make you the head priest of all Ngalla Kingdom.
EZEOFIA:(to himself) ndi nmu ha na chi eze!
KING AHAMEFULA:Mark my words great one.
EZEOFIA:there will be consequences King Ahamefula
KING AHAMEFULA:Great one, a man who does not want strange footprints in his back yard must fence it up. Ajaburu is my number one enemy, I want him dead!
EZEOFIA:Tufia!
KING AHAMEFULA:(continues) he killed my father and people sing his praise for that, I hear his name everywhere I go that I can almost taste it in my mouth...
EZEOFIA:Egwu!
KING AHAMEFULA:(continues with hatred) my father was the greatest King in this Kingdom, I am meant to be King after him, it is my birth right, but Ajaburu took that away from me. Now he is parading himself like a peacock with many colours on his feathers, I want him dead!
EZEFIA:But you are still a King-King Ahamefula?
KING AHAMEFULA:nonsense! A King without a Kingdom, I want the Kingdom just like my fathers!
EZEOFIA:How well do you know your enemy King Ahamefula?
KING AHAMEFULA:(sarcastic) they say he neither bleeds nor flees from a battle, but I say he is a wild beast that needs to be tamed! And I know that nothing is beyond the powers of Ezeofia except what I hear of you is but a child’s tale.
EZEOFIA:(laughs)
