    Sam Quarrel was born at an early age to a loving family who brought him up to know right from wrong and left from right. Although he never developed an interested in politics, not once during his childhood was there any confusion over shoes or marching.He had a highly active imagination from the very beginning, assembling a cast of bold characters in his head and crafting them into a kaleidoscope of thrilling adventures. Throughout those formative years, he spent his waking hours lost in this inner world of fantasy, mainly because he had no toys and no friends.Eventually he began to chronicle these epic tales, enthralling all who read them, which at the start was just but a few, but as his reputation spread far and wide, grew to a few more.Sam now writes an eclectic mix of intrigue-laced, thrill-every-so-often yarns, short stories and humorous sketches and is awaiting the first performance of ‘ONLY HALF THE FUN’ – a whimsical on board ship murder mystery – should it be selected against several hundred other budding playwrights vying to win the Congleton Players ‘One Act Play’ competition.
