CONTENTS
When it comes to it comes to SEO, a lot can be said for how beneficial it is for your website and or blog. I feel it is one of the most awesome techniques to use to get your information found.
SEO is really about understanding the core
and then doing things that correspond with that core. A lot of articles and books have been written and people still seem to be confused by it.
The goal of this book is to explain SEO in a simple manner, and to provide you with a how to do
style book.
Make no mistake in thinking that this book is about theory. These are techniques I have used or have been used by myself and virtual team in the past including during the various algorithm changes and we have had great success.
We beat out a domain name rich niche food domain in a matter of months (technically it was a month, but we needed and dug deeper links and reference points for our domain to stay at number one) even though the domain name we were working absolutely didn't include it's niche name in the domain like the competitor. The domain itself was a food market that fit within the the category of that domain name niche market. We also beat out the store owner's paid ads as well.
This is book is not for those who want to start an agency or a service because I think there are others that can do that more justice than myself.
I learned SEO to achieve a goal, at the time I actually HATED computers. I do have the ability to read and or listen and quickly adapt what I have learned. I put into practice what I learned. I made mistakes such as focusing on literally every single place to put up ads, or links for the domains I was working instead of focusing at first on the ones that will return the highest possible results. I can say this though, when one of the domains I worked was no longer being used, that domain was still being found in the searches for all the keywords, two and half years later even with all of the algorithm changes that had happened!
I don't plan on sugar coating the issue: SEO can be time consuming
