About this ebook

Miranda Coler lived an unassuming frontier life before her husband and child were killed in front of her, she herself left for dead. Little did the killers know that Miranda is cursed, unable to die until she exacts vengeance against those who have wronged her... Written by Ben Acker and Ben Blacker, the creative masterminds behind the smash hit The Thrilling Adventure Hour, and Andrew Miller, creator of the CW's The Secret Circle, with gorgeous illustrations by Hannah Christenson (Jim Henson's The Storyteller: Dragons, Harrow County), Death Be Damned is an unflinching Western with a supernatural twist that explores the toll one takes while on a quest for revenge.

Ben Acker

Ben Acker is best known as the cocreator and writer of The Thrilling Adventure Hour, a monthly comedic variety stage show and podcast in the style of old-timey radio. That would have been enough. Acker has written for television, comic books, and actual radio. Stories to Keep You Alive Despite Vampires is his first book about defeating vampires with the power of storytelling.

Poor writing, poor illustrations. In some cases I wasn't even able to read what is going on cause there were too small word boxes with way too small letters in it, and sometimes they used a really shaky writing style so I had to stop and decide letter by letter what is going on there.
The whole plot didn't make any sense at all. At some scenes there isn't any connection between one panel and the following one. We can actually see things which aren't explained, which I think is a huge mistake.
