- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It is a great book worth reading. Psychology and consumer behavior is incredibility fascinating.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5My coworker suggested the book. It had helpful tips that work for many people I know. I’ve tried a few things and got the same results.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Very interesting and compelling at points. There's certainly things worth learning here and a good structure to them at that. Most of all this makes me wish psychology was developed as a science as rigorously as physics or biology.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Lot of good ideas in here. On second read, took notes to distill the key concepts down to usable format. The author includes a lot of anecdotes and examples which I understand is necessary for a book, but it does make finding the key "pain points" a bit more difficult. I preferred having the key concepts in 3-4 pages in my journal so I could refer to them and refresh my memory as needed. Will definitely open up your eyes to how others are attempting to influence you in the areas of: Commitment and Consistency, Reciprocation, Social Proof, Liking, Authority, Scarcity.
