      Preface

      I have always loved learning about different ways to create wealth. Straight out of medical school, I bought my first investment property in 1994 and I have not looked back since.

      Along the way, I discovered the Stock Market and found it very interesting and fascinating. I loved the fact that it was a level playing field and anyone could get involved. I started trading and investing, read a lot of books and attended a lot of seminars. During this period, I discovered (after many huge losses!!!) that there were certain basic rules to trading and investing. Applying these rules to my trading and investing significantly improved my success.

      I started to teach colleagues, friends and family on how to apply these rules which lead to me running seminars and courses on Stock Trading and Investing and now to writing this book.

      I hope this book will give the beginner a good foundation to success in the Stock Market.
