Journeys of the Soul

About this ebook
Journeys of the Soul is a poignant documentary of the author''s search to find a connection with an often confusing world of life, love and relationships.
Powerful and moving, the poetry leads the reader to one inexplicable conclusion: surviving in the real world can lead to a truth that is sometimes stranger than fiction. Heart rendering and satirical, Journeys of the Soul is fascinating from cover to cover.

What You Feel
Yes, There Are Angels…
A Journey
A Journey begins,
As I close my eyes…
The first thing I see
Is an extraordinary array of Colors…
Then looking down a dark hallway,
A hallway into the chasms of my mind…
I feel strange, almost mechanical,
As I walk through a tunnel of darkness…
I see a Stairway ahead of me,
A tubular staircase with twenty-one steps
All Crystal and Pearly…
I journey off down a step,
I feel the smooth Crystal forms beneath my foot…
I feel a Vastness,
It is that of Space around me,
Surrounding me…
I feel my second foot
Journey down to the next cleft of stone…
I continue on with my Journey,
Deeper and deeper into the Catacombs
Of my mind…
As I continue down,
I look around me…
I see stars,
And Infinite, endless Tyme and Space…
As my last toe extends,
Off the last Crystal step…
I feel an Openness surround me, overpower me,
And fill me with energy and Life…
I journey on…
And ahead of me,
I see a huge door of Bronze and Gold,
I reach into my pocket
And pull out the Key that dwells there…
I place it into the door
I turn the knob, releasing all its
Power and Magnificence…
And Journey on,
Into the next dimension…
A Doorway to Eternity
A Doorway was Opened for Me Today…
I Can Feel It When I Say It…
You are a Part of Me, Me With You..
I’m Here Again to Tell You…
That I Still and Will Always Need You…
Need Your LOVE…
I Hold It to Be True…
This Love…
To Be the One True Thing…
Worth Breathing For..
Worth Living For…
Worth Dying For…
This Love,
This Love,
This True Love…
Is Here…
It Always Has Been…
This Love…
This Love…
Keeps Us Together…
Just You and Me…
For All of Tyme…
For All of Tyme…
FOR ALL OF TYME…
A Mental Case
So here I am, your mental case,
You tell by looking at my face…
A jumbled mass of mental scars,
In faces from prescription jars…
Those little pills you give to me,
They test on animals for free…
The ones supposed to make me tall,
Leave thinning shadows on the wall…
So now I dwell inside this room,
While waiting an impending doom…
You try to keep me here intact,
By keeping suicidal pacts…
To cure a flower that won’t bloom,
Who speaks to spirits in his room…
But I don’t like these pills you gave,
To keep me here your mental slave…
I do not find they cure my ills,
These pink and purple little pills…
They speak to me they tell me true,
That I am not a threat to you…
They call to me deep in the night,
They try to steer me to the right…
That side of life that’s lead by you,
The one you wish to steer me to…
But I cannot be cured this Tyme,
To bring me to your life sublime…
The life you wish to steer me to,
I cannot fill these shoes for you…
I’d rather be down in my grave,
Than take pills to make me your mental slave…
I’d rather be deep in the ground,
Than face the ‘humanness’ gone round…
I cannot live your simple life,
With two kids, a dog, and wife…
To make me ‘perfect’ just like you
I guess there’s nothing left to do…
Than take two bullets in the head,
To fill my mind with molten lead…
Then you can put me in the ground,
I’ll lay there cold without a sound…
But first sew up my mouth with thread,
Then put me in my funeral bed…
And finally you will be free,
Of the ‘psycho’ mess that you call me…
Now put me in the muddy Earth,
So you can find your place of mirth…
Alone there in your little place,
Come bury me without a trace…
A Note To You
You Are So Very Special,
And Our Love is Too…
I Remember All Our Sharing,
In Each Thing That I Do…
And When I Am Alone,
And
