    About the Author Kisha Jordan is a tremendous pastor, evangelist, teacher, author, and highly sought after inspirational speaker whose message of hope in times of despair has radically changed the lives of thousands around the world.      Critically injured in a near fatal auto accident in 1989, her heart stopped twice and her leg was amputated.  Nevertheless, God raised her up to be a voice triumph to the nations.  Her dynamic bible teaching and preaching with delivery as an exhorter and motivator reaches beyond denominations and crosses into mainstream America.   Kisha has shared her incredible testimony on “HomeKeepers” aired on the Christian Television Network and the "Purpose for Living" broadcast shown throughout the Hawaiian Islands.      This wife and mother, is also the CO-Pastor of City of Refuge Christian Church of Clearwater, Florida.  Together with her husband Senior Pastor Jerome D.       This book is dedicated first and foremost, to my heavenly Father Jehovah, who’s always with me. I openly confess that without you Lord, this book would not have been possible. I thank you. You sustained me through the bad times and for that I give you praise! You told me to hold on, to have faith, to believe because You were going to bless me.

      To my husband, Pastor Jerome D. Jordan, for giving me so many years of love and happiness. For staying by my side and believing in me. When others left me, gave up on me, you never did. You have shown me what real love is. The Lord has blessed us with three beautiful children. You have made us a family. You are my teddy bear and king. You’ve treated me like a queen. Thank you for being my husband, lover and friend. I love you!

      To my three loving daughters Kendra, Keona and Kenya. Always know that mommy loves you. God has so many great things in store for you. Allow God to be the head of your lives and He will bless you in a mighty way! Love the Lord with all your heart. Know that you will be tested and challenged; nevertheless, I am confident that you will overcome. God is on your side. Walk as God would have you to walk and put your trust in Him. Lean not to your own understanding and in all of your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Not that he might direct your path, but He will direct your path. I encourage you to be all that you can be in the Army of the Lord. Never settle for doing anything less then your best! You are my three little princes!

      To my mother, Grace Thompson, you have always been by my side - know matter what. Even as a young girl, when I didn’t always do right, you were always there with your hands opened wide. Mom, I love you with all my heart. You are the best mommy in the world! To my Step Father Clem, thank you.

      To my family, I love you all. To my late sister Linda Gaines, who passed away in March 1999. I miss you. Oh, how I miss you being here my big sister.       My Leg is Itching

      …hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes…for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

      I remember waking up in the hospital in the intensive care unit. I woke only to be alarmed by all kinds of machines packed into the room and feeling something uncomfortable. I felt large tubes sticking into my throat. My nose was split by the tube that had been inserted into it several days prior to me waking up. Opening my eyes for the first time after several days in a coma, I wondered where am I. I remember seeing nurses and doctors moving frantically about the room. With tears streaming uncontrollably down my face, my mind in a state of utter confusion, my body unwilling or maybe unable to move as I commanded it, the world which I once considered mine to conqueror was now conquering me. I felt a since of dread, fright, and anxiety like a dark ominous clouds moving across the horizon. I tried to ask a question only to realize that my lips were moving, ever so slow, but my words wouldn’t come out. I tried to beckon with my hands, only to realize my hands wouldn’t move. I was too weak. I tried to get someone’s attention, but to no avail.

      It was then my right leg started itching. Finally after what seemed like hours, one of the nurses came over and she saw my tears. She said to me, Kisha, what’s wrong? Without hesitation, wanting to seize the opportunity to speak with someone I attempted to tell her that my right leg was itching. But every time I open my mouth nothing would come out. The nurse was kind enough to get me a pad and pencil, but I was too weak to write. My frustration was mounting. Even if I had the strength to write, I couldn’t remember how to write. Some of my memory was gone! The nurse then got me a board with letters, number, and pictures printed on it so that I could point out to her what I was trying to say. That wasn’t working either because I couldn’t remember how to spell. The simplest of task were now overwhelming. Try as I might I couldn’t
