CELLAR DWELLER
by
David G. Phillippe
NO! I WON'T! I'M not going down in that cellar!
Peter yelled. There was no telling what kind of horrid creatures lived down there. Peter imagined an army of spiders creeping up his arm if he dared to touch the dusty cellar door.
Come on, Peter,
Todd said. Mom is waiting for us to bring her these preserves.

If you had helped me carry these, I wouldn't have dropped that!
Sure you would, butterfingers.
Todd puffed angrily. At least I'm not afraid the Boogeyman is going to jump out from under my bed and grab me.
Peter glared at his brother. I'm not either,
he said.
"Sure,
