      Life is busy in a metropolis as large as New York City. Above, thousands walk along the cold hard pavement, drive up and down the avenues, the numbered streets, working and playing. Mass transit and Yellow cabs line the city streets picking up and dropping off fares. Some ride their bikes or use small scooters to get around. Beneath the city, people ride the subways. Whatever mode the city dwellers and visitors choose, it never disturbs what lurks beneath.

      Many are unaware that below, the sewer system is one of the largest in the world and travels more than seven thousand miles. If viewed by a novice, the intricate tunnels and conduits almost resemble the ruins of an ancient territory

      Intricate tunnels, caves, and mazes made of molten rock line the layers and layers of the city's underbelly.  Undisturbed by man’s ever-growing need to move forward and build his cities, some unnatural forces still manage to survive. Those forces are needed to keep the order of evil in check. Evil thrives on humanity and the decadence of those who walk above. In time many will walk below and reap the punishment for their evil deeds.

      Centuries old, humanity was never meant to interfere in the order of evil or find the hidden city of Argatha. However, the quest for knowledge and man’s ever-growing curiosity sometimes does indeed kill the cat. As man ravages the earth, digs deeper into its core, evil has found ways of keeping him out. In time many will find a way in all on their own.

      There’s no way in and no way out, not unless you’re a resident of Argatha. All creatures have a key, a key made of the finest strands of gold. Reciting the proper chant solidifies the key and opens the portal to the universe beneath. Ancient myths and legends have roots in reality. Not all is as it appears. Humans may dwell up top, but down, in the dark recesses of the planet, everything you’ve ever been told as a child, including the boogeyman, exists.
