Entry #1 - The brightest star
It all started on a Sunday afternoon. One minute I was delivering pizzas and minding my own business, when all of a sudden my arch enemy Louis stole my car and left me on the side of the road. I decided to get far away from him and try my luck in a different server and see what it was all about.
Within moments I was in a completely new world in the dark with no pizza in sight. All I had was my ticket and a life jacket. There I was, trapped in a sinking ship. The clock was ticking. Would I survive or freeze to death in the frozen abyss of ocean? I looked around and saw my fellow passengers struggling to find a way out.
I had as good a chance as anyone to find the lifeboat. My adrenaline was pumping. I had no choice but to run and wish on my lucky stars that I would make it out alive. I looked up into the night sky and spotted the brightest star. I made my wish and continued on my journey. Suddenly, I spotted a girl standing in one place, looking out beyond the sea and looking up beyond the stars - just like me.
Hey, what is your name?
I asked. I felt so stupid. I mean c’mon was that all I could come up with? I mean I guess names are important but still...
She just looked at me and smiled. Her smile made me feel like I wasn’t trapped on a drowning ship, her smile made me feel like I was on a cruise headed to the Caribbean.
My name is Rachel,
she said.
What’s yours?
Wow, that is one great name, mine is Trevor. So do you come to this server often?
‘I totally nailed that one..." I thought to myself. What was I doing? I needed to be figuring out a way to survive, not talking to some girl.
