#1 - Do you want a coffee? Water?
EVEN IF YOU AREN’T thirsty, a question like this already shows that the interviewer is interested in you. Don’t decline a simple gift.
TIP:
- If they ask if you want coffee and you don’t drink coffee, ask them for a water. If they ask if you want water, the only response is, Yes, please, thank you.
#2 - How is your day? Week? How was last weekend?
THIS IS A VERY SIMPLE starter question, and besides starting to get to know you on a personal level, this question also establishes how lazy or outgoing you are, among other behaviors.
TIPS:
- If the question is, How is your day?
- be sure to answer with more than one word. Instead of saying, Fine,
or even Great,
