    I inherited my writing talent from my mom, who has been published in Ideal Magazine, for her poems, and other small magazines, for her poems and witty children sayings. I consider myself qualified to write this book based on how my writings have inspired my life and the life of others that I have written for or about. I have taken the roads less traveled throughout my life. These roads have taught me many lessons, some of which I have converted from my heart to pen and paper. I have truly "felt" my life and am honored to share these feelings and my words with others who can relate. I live in a small town outside of Charlotte, NC with my husband, who is my soul mate. I have three beautiful daughters, a handsome stepson and we are Gigi and Poppi to one grandaughter and five grandsons. My life's journey has, at last, brought me to my happy place and I am truly blessed.

      And I have another story to tell,

      Of how you’ve touched the hearts

      Of all who’ve known you well.

      Your heart is made of solid gold
