Reed, Author Beginning his vocational and technical career in 1974, as a student intake advisor and then campus director a couple years later, 37 years has provided Mr. Reed the experience and insight needed prepare students for the demands of today’s working environment. He has served on many City, State, and Federal advisory and regulatory boards. He is the only individual in the State of Texas who has served on the Career Colleges and Schools Association Board in each of four separate decades serving as Board Chairman in 1996. His focus has been developing effective teaching approaches that unleash application learning that produces skills and performance. Mr. Reed believes that specialized career education is the quickest and most effective vehicle for a person to enter the professional workforce and reach their God intended potential. He believes post-secondary education is the necessary preparatory foundation to the life-long learning experience that starts on the job.
