      This devotional guide is dedicated to all of those individuals who struggle from day to day to stay on the straight and narrow path, and are not ashamed to admit that living for Christ is a constant fight.

      This devotional guide is also dedicated to a couple of members of our Church who often call me, text me and share with me word of encouragement when we feel a little challenged in the spiritual realm. I thank God for members who are not afraid to stand up for what is right and say, Pastor be encouraged and by the same token they are not too distant to say, Pastor I believe this would be an advantageous approach to the present situation. I would call and list your names but you know who you are!

      I would like to further dedicate this devotional guide to a diligent and committed aide in the Church I now Shepherd: Sister Annette Gray; she helps and always goes the extra mile when asked. Thank you for being so committed not to me, but to the cause of Christ.

      I would be remised if I were not to ever make mention of a very special young man in the life of the Lyons’. Brother Frederic Stanley Tims, he is the Minister of Music at Goodwill, and by far he is perhaps the most committed, faithful and easiest to get along with musician I have ever worked with and have had the privilege of leading and we pray that God would bless you according to your deeds sir!
