A Collection of Thoughts & Too Much Time!
()
About this ebook
I would like to be clever, but I am not. I would like to be talented, but I am not. I would like to be wealthy, but it will never happen. I just simply exist in much the same way as everyone else and I see and experience what others do. Yet life is simply a series of snapshots, with each snap a particular event. I have tried to capture some of these events, not using a camera or mobile phone, but rather, to express my feelings and thoughts about them. Clearly, I have also had far too much time on my hands!
I dedicate this collection to my family, because they are long suffering. I particularly dedicate this work to my grandchildren, as some of this is about them and some of this is a reaction to the world I see them growing up in.
I sincerely hope you enjoy reading this work and that, in some manner, it sparks thought and debate.
Thank you,

A Collection of Thoughts & Too Much Time! - Danny Blaszczyk
A Kiss
A kiss, that one fleeting moment
Of happiness, yet despair
as a perfect sadness of love and insecurity,
borne out of attraction and lust
like a summer breeze caressing your face,
whispering a promise; an intimate embrace,
that gently strokes your parted lips:
hot breath, a furnace of desire,
as your senses melt and make you weak;
a carousel of delight, yet sensual pain
as never to meet at one time again
that parting kiss: a tearful end
as from now on, you’ll just be friends.
A Perfect Wife
A perfect woman in every way,
your sense, your purpose, shines all day,
with all the troubles in our life,
you still remain my perfect wife.
I know that you are tired now
and feeling very low,
I wish that I could deal with this,
and cure it with the perfect kiss: you know!
Things will change, they surely must,
as sure as death this life ain’t just,
but when they do, and on that day,
I promise you, we’ll go away.
We’ll find somewhere that’s just for us,
a special place to fuel our lust,
a perfect woman in every way,
Peace, contentment, begins that day.
A perfect woman in every way,
your sense, your purpose, shines away,
with all the troubles in our life,
you still remain my perfect wife.

Distant Love
A solitary tear, gently coursing over apple red cheeks,
Like a morning dew drop reflecting early light,
The only sound your heart gently beating,
As a butterfly beats its splendid wings,
The eyes so crystal blue, piercing my very soul,
Like a laser cutting through steel,
You see my own hearts desires,
My worthless feelings of love for you,
Your face a sculptor’s work of art,
Chiselled so fine and delicate,
But solid and clear, like the mason’s marble,
Beauty in its coldest form,
But also radiant, exuding warmth,
As light shines from your perfect smile,
Like a string of pearls in a jeweller’s window,
Something I must have, forget the cost,
I love you so strongly now
And will do forevermore,
Please talk to me, don’t leave me alone,
For I have never met you,
Please, I beg of you,
Don’t get off the train!
A Moment in Time
Two lips, locked in passionate embrace,
Emotion and lust gods of the moment,
A fleeting thought: is this for real,
Abandoned in the abandonment of helpless feelings,
Bodies a chemical explosion of sexual tension
That cannot be controlled,
Heads spinning dizzily, like the fairground ride,
As blood pulsates through two as one,
A natural joining of two beings,
Venus rising as a monumental episode in time,
Never to be forgotten, often causing a cry,
Of promise lost and sometimes missed,
This is the point: it’s your very first kiss!
Whispers
A whisper, an intimate test
That murmur, a promise, such intense love
A breath of air, a meaningful caress
A summer breeze given from the wings of a dove
And as autumn claims the mantle of king
Prising open the very meaning of
