About this ebook

Matthew 28:16-20
16 But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. 17 And when they saw him, they worshiped him; but some were doubtful. 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to me in Heaven and on Earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

I pray that this book will give you a better understanding of The Battle of the Three Wills and carry out my charge of the Great Commission. I pray for Gods will here on earth as it is in Heaven.
In Christ name. Amen.

    PREFACE

The purpose of this book is Threefold. As Author, by use of Scriptures contained in the Holy Bible and other chosen reference material, I plan to (a) share a portion of GOD’s Will for mankind by introducing His Plan of Salvation, so One can through the use of One’s Free Will, accept and secure the gift of Eternal Life, or knowingly or unknowingly elect to suffer eternal death. (b) share with or remind mankind that there are consequences to the use of One’s Free Will and (c) make it clear that mankind, contrary to popular opinion and belief, is not in complete control of One’s action(s), nor the final authority in judging same.

Man’s Free Will is either in concert with The Will of GOD or the Will of Satan.

Matt 6:24   No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

Luke 16:13   No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one, and love the other, or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon.

Matt 12:30   He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters.

    CHAPTER ONE

    THE HOLY BIBLE

The Bible is a Book of 66 books, divided into two testaments or Covenants. The designations Old Testament and New Testament, though not commonly used until the end of the second century, focus on the two great covenants GOD made with His people: the Mosaic Covenant and the New Covenant. The first five books of The Holy Bible are Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy known as the Pentateuch. Some of these five books were given by GOD to Moses at Mount Sinai and others at the Tabernacle. Jewish belief system includes the first five books of the Hebrew Bible in the Torah. Although there have been many attempts to codify and enumerate the commandments (mitzvot) contained in the Torah, the traditional view is based on Maimonides’ enumeration. The 613 commandments comprise of 248 positive commandments, to perform an act and 365 negative commandments, to abstain from certain acts. (4) A complete listing of these commandments can be found on the Wikipedia internet site.

In the beginning, GOD’s Plan was to deal directly with His people. This period was designated the Patriarchal Age. His plan for dealing with His people changed under the advent of the Mosaic (Covenant) Law. This period or dispensation is referred to as the Mosaic Age and GOD continued to deal with his people through the Law for the balance of time covered in the writings of the Old Testament and until Jesus Christ, the Messiah, fulfilled the Law.

    MOSAIC COVENANT

The Covenant proposed and accepted by the people

    Exodus 19:1-25

1   In the third month after the sons of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, on that very day they came into the wilderness of Sinai.

2   When they set out from Rephidim, they came to the wilderness of Sinai, and camped in the wilderness; and there Israel camped in front of the mountain.

3   And Moses went up to GOD, and the Lord called to him from the mountain, saying, "Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob and tell the sons of Israel:

4   You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles wings, and brought you to Myself.

    5   Now then if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine;

6   and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words that you shall speak to the sons if Israel."

7   So Moses came and called the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which the Lord had commanded him.

8   And all the people answered together and said, All that the Lord has spoken we will do! And Moses brought back the words of the people to the Lord.

9   And the Lord said to Moses, Behold, I shall come to you in a thick cloud, in order that the people may hear when I speak with you, and may also believe in you forever, Then Moses told the words of the people to the Lord.

    10   The Lord also said to Moses, "Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments;

11   and let them be ready for the third day, for on the third day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.

12   "And you shall set bounds for the people all around, saying, ‘Beware that you do not go up on the mountain or touch the border of it, whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death.

13   ‘No hand shall touch Him, but he shall surely be stoned or shot through; whether beast or man, he shall not live.’ When the ram’s horn sounds a long blast, they shall come up to the mountain."

14   So Moses went down from the mountain to the people and consecrated the people and they washed their garments.

15   And he said to the people, Be ready for the third day; do not go near a woman.

16   So it came about on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunder and lightning flashes and a thick cloud upon the mountain and a very loud trumpet sound, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.

17   And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet GOD, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.

18   Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke because the Lord descended upon it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked violently.

19   When the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and GOD answered him with thunder.

20   And the Lord came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain; and the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.

21   Then the Lord spoke to Moses, "Go down, warn the people, lest they break through to the Lord to gaze, and many of them perish.

22   "And also let the priests who come near to the Lord consecrate themselves, lest the Lord break out against them.

23   And Moses said to the Lord, The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai, for Thou didst warn us, saying, ‘Set bounds about the mountain and consecrate it.’

24 Then the Lord said to him, Go down and come up again, you and Aaron with you; but do not let the priests and the people break through to come up to the Lord lest He break forth upon them."

25 So Moses went down to the people and told them.

    The Ten Commandments

    Exodus 20:1-26

1   Then GOD spoke all these words, saying,

2   "I am the Lord your GOD, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

3   "You shall have no other gods before Me.

4   "You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.

5   "You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your GOD, am a jealous GOD, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me,

6   but showing loving kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

7   "You shall not take the name of the Lord your GOD in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.

8   "Remember, the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9   "Six days you shall labor and do all your work,

10   but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord your GOD; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you.

11   "For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

12   "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your GOD gives you.

    13   "You shall not murder.

14   "You shall not commit adultery.

    15   "You shall not steal.

16   "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

17   You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife or his male servant or his female servant or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

18   And all the people perceived the thunder and the lightning flashes and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood at a distance.

19   Then they said to Moses, Speak to us yourself and we will listen; but let not GOD speak to us, lest we die.

20   And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid; for GOD has come in order to test you, and in order that the fear of Him may remain with you, so that you may not sin.

21   So the people stood at a distance, while Moses approached the thick cloud where GOD was.

22   Then the Lord said to Moses, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘You yourselves have seen that I have spoken to you from heaven.

23   ‘You shall not make other gods besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make for yourselves.

24   ‘You shall make an altar of earth for Me, and you shall sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your oxen; in every place where I cause My name to be remembered, I will come to you and bless you.

25   ‘And if you make an altar of stone for Me, you shall not build it of cut stones, for if you wield your tool on it, you will profane it.

26   ‘And you shall not go up by steps to My altar, that your nakedness may not be exposed on it.’

1   Then He said to Moses, "Come up to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab Abihu and seventy of the elders of Israel, and you shall worship at a distance.

2   Moses alone, however, shall come near to the Lord, but they shall not come near, nor shall the people come up with him.

3   Then Moses came and recounted to the people all the words of the Lord and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the Lord has spoken we will do!

4   And Moses wrote down all the words of the Lord. Then he arose early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain with twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.

5   And he sent young men of the sons of Israel, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed young bulls as peace offerings to the Lord.

6   And Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and the other half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

7   Then he took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people; and they said, All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!

8   So Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.

    THE COVENANT RENEWED

    Exodus 34 and Deuteronomy 10

KING JOSIAH RENEWS THE COVENENT WITH PEOPLE

    2 Kings 23:2-3

2   And the king went up to the house of the Lord and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests and the prophets and all the people, both small and great; and he read in their hearing all the words of the book of the covenant, which was found in the house of the Lord.

3   And the king stood by the pillar and made a covenant before the Lord, to walk after the Lord, and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes with all his heart and all his soul, to carry out the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people entered into the covenant.

    OLD TESTAMENT

The Old Testament records the account of GOD’s dealings with the people of Israel on the basis of the Mosaic covenant. Earlier parts of the Old Testament tell of the creation of man, the Flood, the call of Abraham, and the delimiting of the people of Israel through the line of Isaac and Jacob. After the account of the establishing of the Mosaic covenant, the Old Testament records the history of GOD’s relationship with Israel: their wilderness wanderings, their incomplete conquest of the land of Canaan; their life under judges and kings, including the division of the nation into northern and southern kingdoms; the many prophetic warnings of impending captivity; the captivities; and the return of Judah to Palestine. Throughout the Old Testament there extends a line of prophecies concerning the coming Deliverer-Savior, the Messiah, and the institution of a New Covenant.

    BETWEEN THE TESTAMENTS

During the 400 years between the close of the Old Testament revelation and the coming of Christ, several important events occurred. (a) The Greeks under Alexander the Great and his successors ruled the world for a time. (b) Under the Maccabees, the Jews revolted and attempted to break away from the rule of the Greeks. (c) The Roman Empire succeeded the Greek rule and ruled the known world when Christ was born. (d) The Jewish synagogue, the Sanhedrin, and sects such as the Pharisees and Sadducees developed. All of these events and developments set the stage for the prophesied coming to earth of GOD’s Son, Jesus Christ. (1)

    THE NEW TESTAMENT

    John 1:17

17   For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ

The New Testament records the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecy regarding the birth, childhood, teaching, baptism, ministry, crucifixion, burial, resurrection and ascension into heaven of Jesus Christ.

    Titus 2:11

11   For the grace of GOD has appeared bringing salvation to all men,

    1 Peter 1:10-12

10   As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful search and inquiry,

11   seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow.

12   It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things into which angels long to look.

    THE NEW COVENANT

    Matthew 26:26-29

26   And while they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take; eat; this is My body.

    27   And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you;

28   for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.

29   But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.

    THE CHRISTIAN/CHURCH/GRACE AGE BEGINS

    Acts 1:1-9

1   The first account I composed about all that Jesus began to do and teach,

2   until the day when he was taken up, after He had by the Holy Spirit given orders to the apostles whom He had chosen.

3   To these He also presented Himself alive, after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days, and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of GOD.

    4   And gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, Which, He said "you heard of from Me;

5   for John baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now."

6   And so when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom of Israel?

    7   He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority;

8   but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."

9   And after He said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

    10   And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was departing, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them;

11   and they also said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.

    Acts 2:1-4

1   And when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.

2   And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent, rushing wind and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.

3   And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each of them.

4   And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance.

    NEW COVENANT INCLUDES THE GENTILES

    Acts10: 42-48

42   "And He ordered us to preach to the people, and solemnly to testify that this is the One who has been appointed by GOD as Judge of the living and the dead.

43   Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.

44   While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message.

45   And all the circumcised believers who had come with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out upon the Gentiles.

46   For they were hearing them speaking with tongues and exalting GOD. Then Peter answered,

47   Surely no one can refuse water for these to be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?

48   And he ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Return of Christ to earth, the Tribulation period, Judgment of Satan, his forces, man and Millennium Age will be covered in following chapters.

WORDS ABOUT THE HOLY BIBLE FROM PRESIDENT RONALD REAGAN

"I think I understand how Abraham Lincoln felt when he said, I have been driven many times to my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had nowhere else to go.

Now, I realize that it is fashionable in some circles that no one in government should encourage others to read the Bible. We are told that we will violate the constitutional separation of Church and State established by our Founding Fathers in the First Amendment. The First Amendment was not written to protect people and their laws from religious values, it was written to protect those values from government tyranny. We have been a free people living under the law with faith in our Maker and our future. We must also seek help from GOD Our Father and Preserver. The morality and values such faith implies are deeply embedded in our National character. Our Country embraces those principles by design and we abandon them at our own peril. My experiences in this office I hold has only deepened the belief I have held for many years, within the covers of that single Book are all the answers to all the problems that face us today, if we would only read and believe."

    CHAPTER TWO

    THE WILL OF GOD

Who is GOD? According to the Holy Bible, He is the Creator, Father of all things and Supreme Ruler of the world. He is referred to as YHWH (Yahweh), The LORD (Jehovah) . . . I AM THAT I AM . . .

    Exodus 3:14

14   And GOD said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM; and He said, Thus You shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’

HOW DOES GOD REVEAL HIMSELF AND HIS WILL?

    CREATION OF HEAVEN AND EARTH

    GEN 1:1-31

1   In the beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth.

2   And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep; and the Spirit of GOD was moving over the surface of the waters.

3   Then GOD said, let there be light; and there was light.

4   And GOD saw that the light was good; and GOD separated the light from the darkness.

5   And GOD called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

6   Then GOD said, Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.

7   And GOD made the expanse, and separated the waters which were below the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.

8   And GOD called the expanse heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.

9   Then GOD said, Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear; and it was so.

10   And GOD called the dry land earth, and the gathering of the waters He called seas; and GOD saw that it was good.

11   Then GOD said, Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit and their kind, with seed in them, on the earth; and it was so

12   And the earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, with seed in them, after their kind; and GOD saw that it was good.

13   And there was evening and there was morning, a third day.

    14   Then GOD said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years;

15   And let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth"; and it was so.

16   And GOD made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night; He made the stars also.

17   And GOD placed them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth,

18   And to govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness; and GOD saw that it was good.

19   And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.

20   Then GOD said Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens.

21   And GOD created the great sea monsters, and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind; and GOD saw that it was good.

22   And GOD blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.

23   And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.

24   Then GOD said, Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth after their kind; and it was so.

25   And GOD made the beasts of the earth, after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind; and GOD saw that it was good.

26   Then GOD said, Let Us make man in Our image according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

27   And GOD created man in His own image, in the image of GOD He created him; male and female He created them.

28   And GOD blessed them; and GOD said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.

    29   Then GOD said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;

30   and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food"; and it was so.

31   And GOD saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

GOD RESTS AND BLESSES THE SEVENTH DAY

    GEN 2: 1-3

1   Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts.

2   And by the seventh day GOD completed His work which He had done; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.

3   Then GOD blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which GOD had created and made.

    CREATION OF MAN (ADAM)

    GEN 2: 4-7

4   This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord GOD made earth and heaven.

5   Now no shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the Lord had not sent rain upon the earth; and there was no man to cultivate the ground.

6   But a mist used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground.

7   Then the Lord GOD formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

    CREATION OF GARDEN OF EDEN

    GEN 2: 8-15

8   And the Lord GOD planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed.

9   And out of the ground the Lord GOD caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

10   Now a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it divided and became four rivers.

11   The name of the first is Pishon; it flows around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold.

12   And the gold of that land is good; the bdellium and the onyx stone are there.

13   And the name of the second river is Gihon; it flows around the whole land of Cush.

14   And the name of the third river is Tigris; it flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

15   Then the Lord GOD took the man and put him into the Garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.

    COMMANDMENT TO MAN

    Genesis 2:16-17

    16   And the Lord GOD commanded the man, saying, "From any tree of the garden you may eat freely;

17   but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you shall surely die."

    CREATION OF WOMEN (EVE)

    Genesis 2: 18, 21-25

18   Then the Lord GOD said It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.

21   So the Lord GOD caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh at that place.

22   And the Lord GOD fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.

23   And the man said, This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.

24   For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and shall cleave to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.

25   And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.

    WOMAN TEMPTED BY SATAN

    Genesis 3:1-7

1   Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord GOD had made. And he said to the woman, Indeed, has GOD said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?

    2   And the woman said to the serpent, "From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat;

3   but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, GOD has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, lest you die.’"

4   And the serpent said to the woman, "You surely shall not die!

5   For GOD knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like GOD, knowing good and evil.

6   When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.

7   then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loin covering.

GOD PRONOUNCES JUDGEMENT ON ORIGINAL SIN

    Genesis 3:8-24

8   And they heard the sound of the Lord GOD walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord GOD among
