I am the first of six daughters from a small village on the west coast of the beautiful Nature island of Dominica. Mother of four beautiful children, and three grand children I am about to celebrate my forty eighth birthday on the twenty second of December. I travelled to St. Martin in 1986 where I learned the true meaning of responsibility with the different things that I encountered that I was not acquainted to and the tough decisions I had to take concerning what was best for my children and me. In 1997 I accepted Jesus as Lord and savior of my life and I have not regret it at all. I believe that it is impossible to live a real gratifying life without God. God has given me many visions and one of them is to reach the lost and dying world. This book is the result of the vision that God has placed in me to reach the world, as I continue to grow I am getting more and more involved in ministry. Presently I am the host of a television program ISSUES on a local television station; I am also the host of a radio program on the Christian radio station on St. Martin, Radio Maranatha. I desire to be all that God wants me to be, by his grace and mercy to the Glory and honor of His name. Happy reading and may the blessings of God that maketh rich and adds no sorry to it be yours. Be blessed!!

    Special Thanks and Dedication

I must give thanks to God Almighty my loving Father for all He has done for me, the blessings He has bestowed upon me before the foundation of the earth, His grace, His mercy, His love, His longsuffering, His Son Jesus Christ and all those things that sometimes I take for granted. I am blessed to have Him as my Jehovah Jireh, my Jehovah Rapha, my Jehovah Shalom, and my Jehovah Raah. He is my El Shaddai, and my Jehovah Shammah He will always be there.

I thank Him for blessing me with four beautiful children Kinteh, Philischar, Karen and Dimitri they are the apples of my eyes and I love them very much and also my mother Eurilia who brought me into this world. I thank God also for the loving grandmother Isla fritz, although departed will never be forgotten, who raised me and the values she instilled in me, she will always have a place in my heart. Thank you mamma.

I am dedicating this book to my four children, and my prayer for them is that they will not repeat the mistakes I did in the pass, but their lives will be lead to serve God Almighty and to bring glory and honor to His name. It is for all the decisions I had to make as a mother whether it affected them or not, it is for all the lessons I learned while raising them. I bless them with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus.

    Chapter One

    HOLDING ON TO UNFORGIVENESS

Throughout the Bible we find many women who have been through great many ordeals and in spite of their misfortune never gave up on life and even their dreams and aspiration. Women like Ruth, Tamar, Bath Sheba, Rahab, Sarah and many more through the Bible. These women faced adversities and came out on the other side victorious with a different perspective on life.

They should be great example to us as Christian women and men as it is obvious that the problems of life always affect both men and women it would be unfair to live out the men and you will understand when you have read through these pages.

These women faced everything, which came their way, and the only thing as we know it that could have kept them was the grace of God. In the face of adversity they held on, and the will of God for their lives were not aborted. Some of these women held on and some of them are well known in history because they won a place in the lineage of our savior Jesus Christ.

It is obvious that if we hold on to the unchanging hands of God, God’s will for our lives will never be aborted, every ordained will of God for our lives will come to pass only in His time and not ours, (Habakkuk 2:3) for the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it shall surely come it will not tarry. There isn’t anything or anyone that is able to abort God’s vision without his permission; neither can anything separate us from the love of God and His plans for our lives.

I was awakened by a vision where I was in a desperate search for someone I thought was very dear to me and at the same time I was actually hiding from him hoping that he would not find me out. In my own game of hide and seek I got caught by a nail as it yanked at my hair. I guess it is long enough to get caught by anything since my hair falls to my shoulders when it is loose.

In the struggle to free my hair from the nail, he saw me and walked towards me, what he said wrench at my heart, as he looked somewhat straight through me.

Why are you looking for me, and hiding? Didn’t God save you alive to declare His work? staring at him a bit confused, the only answer I could have given was

    Yes.

Forgetting I was caught by the nail I walked away, remembering (Psalms 118:17) God had given me this verse of scripture when I was sick I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. with tear trickling down my face I walked away.

Jumping up from sleep crying, I was really crying in my sleep I ran to the bathroom and wept bitterly at 2:00 in the morning. It took me half an hour to stop crying and get out of there. At that moment the story of my life came flashing before me the good, the bad and the ugly. The Spirit of the Lord spoke to me at this time and said,

For this indeed I have saved you alive, to declare my works.

I was trying to figure out the meaning of the dream when it dawn on me it was God directing me back to him. I knew whole heartedly I wanted to serve God but at the same time I was trying to do my own thing and up to this point He was patient with me, He had not given up on me and if I couldn’t understand that He was trying to get my attention then why not send someone I might listen to, to redirect me God’s way.

I had come to realize that Satan was actually having a foot ball match with me the weeks prior to the vision, I thought I was alright spiritually and getting there physically but he was desperately dramatizing me by bringing the things of my pass to depress me, things I thought I had placed behind me, and apparently thought I had forgotten.

I had under gone two surgeries in the space of two and a half months and was just coming to grips with the fact that I had indeed survived cancer thanks to God and was getting back on my feet. I had seen and was still seeing God’s mighty hand working in my life and in ways I had never imagined. God had pulled me through once again and I made a vow to serve Him with everything I had. I had been save for some time and had fallen short but God was good to me and I had no intentions of walking the other way, Proverbs says, a righteous man falls seven time and gets back up, but this time for me it was going to be God’s way, or no way.

God wants us to forgive in order to be blessed, unforgiveness is one of the things, which, holds back our blessing. God wants us to forgive those who have used us, wronged us, hurt us, and pray for them, blessing them (Mathew 5:43, 44). Unforgiveness is a poison, which eats us up at the core; we grow bitter and miserable while those around us flourish.

    Is it impossible? Yes

    Is it possible? Yes

It is impossible because we can’t do it on our own; nonetheless it is possible for we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13).

Absalom purposed in his heart to get his brother for violating his sister and he harbored unforgiveness in his heart. We should also be careful as Christians not to avenge ourselves, for God has said in his word vengeance is mine, I will repay. (Romans 12:19) Absalom killed his brother for his sin against his sister and ended up a cast away from his father’s household.

The Bible teaches us if we regard iniquity in our hearts the Lord will not hear us (Psalms 66:18) it keeps us from God, and it is true.

    Isn’t it?

Whenever there is something in our heart that is not pleasing to God we find ourselves alienated from His throne of grace, we can’t face Him and we keep putting it off till a later day and we find ourselves three years later in a worst condition than when we first started out. Whatever, or whoever has wronged us we ought to forgive them immediately rather than later. We will only be punishing ourselves if we don’t.

Absalom loved Tamar and so did Amnon, one loved to the extent, he would protect her whatever it took and the other love to his own personal gain, but by taking vengeance into his own hands Absalom suffered terrible and more so in the end. He realized his father had not done anything to better the situation or solve the problem in return he hated his father and he waited for two years, he never told his brother anything neither good nor bad (v 21-22) and his father never chastised Amnon for the wrong he had done.

When you read the story of King David in (2 Samuel 11) is it any wonder that God told David that He would bring evil upon his house. Was it an accident that David’s son Amnon would rape his own sister? Was it an accident that David son Absalom would kill his own brother for violating his sister?

    No!

If we consider (2 Samuel 11:4) David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified for her uncleanness; and she returned to her house. It is no wonder that David had forced himself on Bath Sheba and then to solve the problem he had to resort to murdering her husband Uriah. Moses was the prophet, who after much experience told us,

Be sure your sins shall find you out (Numbers 32:23).

Don’t we all say in our own common language?

    What goes around comes around.

We seems to forget the word of God is true, Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap (Galatians 6:7). God esteems His word higher
