ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I would like to take the time to acknowledge and express my appreciation to the most important substance in my life, the universal creator of us all. For giving me the forever emerging energy, wittiness and the life form I posses. I am thankful for the creator empowering me to articulate with intelligence and the capability of becoming an inspiring author as well as anything that I want to become. I express love notions toward all, obstacles, beings, placed in my path for me to overcome and persevere.
I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and express my appreciation to my mother Kimberlee Tyler, who has blessed me with the literary talents embedded in our genes. She has never suppressed my enthusiasm to write expressively and creatively. She has also taught me that life provides you with what is given; it’s up to you to make it harsh or happy and turn the nothing’s into something’s.
Last but not least I want to express my idea of P.O.E.M. (Ponder and Observe Every Moment). P.o.e.m. is in no way shape or form expressed as anything other than this light body taking all this information in and creatively expressing it out in my own unique way.
I also would like to acknowledge my publishing company (Author House) for their direction; who have aided me in the making of my dreams and triumphant reality.
My special appreciation to all my individual influences that helped me to develop into becoming the man that I am today. Without the pressures, mistakes and embarrassments; I would not have thought the same about life and all it’s splendor. Thanks to all who provided me with advice and to those that allowed me to give some.
Stephen D. Tyler

This book is a dedication to life and an ode to its trials and tribulations. Poems displayed in this book are more like mini tales of everyday life being magnified under a microscope. This actualization comes from broken homes and scarred tears. From depression and anger turned to interpersonal magnification. It discusses the psyche behind the journey of the situations and happenings in Stephen’s life. A multiple survivor of extreme unprecedented events by escaping the clutches of the World Trade Center 911 tragedy and the Empire State Building shooting. Real life transformed from his eyes to words on paper from a journey to you.
This book has dramatization, sexual vigor, psyche interpretations and intense real emotions. Created from the bottom to the top of my heart constituted from my mind, body and soul. May this book aide in enlightening, stimulation and help to create a better world of thought. We are responsible for our own actions even in the spurt of the moment. Let us take hold of ourselves, the greatest achievement ever.

~MAN
Adrenaline flourishing in our veins
My testosterone, your estrogen
The more I push to the deeper depths
The more I feel the stresses from your breath of dishonor
Your man, Your lover,
Your bid life timer
What ever have I done
to have you spawn my child;
as I bust my hump night in and day out.
The deceit you have approached me with,
Was it justified in your lonesome quarreling thoughts of rage?
Oh I couldn’t get to see you and please you.
Maybe because the sex wasn’t going to feed you.
I abused us with you needing me and I not there for you.
Thought you trusted your Material that it will never wear out on you
Im as decadent as the sky and as built as the raging seas
But you and this anger for me is stopping our progression
To be a more better man and less of a womanizer,
But through this breathalyzer, the alcohol and pills from Pfizer
that had me going nuts and bolts with a few screw drivers
Sorry, I missed myself and entered your next life through our young ones eyes
This is not my life nor is this yours
but in our little girls world
We just made it possible for her to make us live
and through her I will give everything that I have to make this work
No more sexing others after or during work
I will pay more attention to you with every perk
You are mine and we are ours through my girth
~WOMAN
Humph Well, you told me that you had loved me
when we first had our lovely healthy scrumptious little baby.
Yes! I said it! Our Baby!
Except the ours
turned to me and she for hours since you were never around.
You told me that I was beautiful and that you ran from sunsets
Just to see me first lay down
I stood by you when jobs did not believe in you
Yes! Not your job, friends, secretaries etc. I did!
I gave you my body, my free will to never let another man’s
unlike his eyes grace upon my hips, lips and thighs.
I was yours, I am yours, Your queen, my king and you treated me as a jester.
A gesture you sent out plenty of times when I ask you to make love to me
and you could not even say it.
But all you did was use my heavenly body that GOD gave us.
I do not care about no one else to love more than you and our daughter.
I know at times we feel like two threads at the end of its tension span
But as your fiber of well being, I will keep us tightly knitted.
Even though we are on our way back to whence we came;
I want to go through it all with you.
Till the day out the womb till back in the earth, you will know what I am
This woman’s passion to a thirst and how its displayed into love
You will know really what I am worth.
Creator’s Thoughts:
This poem to me accentuates the actual conceptions that run through couples minds during the spectacle of assumptions without them verbally communicating with one another. Especially when fresh in a relationship or not knowing that they were in one and all of a sudden a child is now in the midst of the commotion. Two erogenous volcanoes about to erupt but gladly this sea in between be it the child has soothed the two into a calming demeanor. Just the respect the sea has given them has rose the level of respect for one another for they are no longer normal but they are Mother and Father to a special creation that could change the world. This poem states that we are all special but each one of us bares a special worth. Not a worth in the tense of value but in the tense of living knowledge and progression. Don’t take for granted what you have in front
