About this ebook

This book is premised on the revelation I received from God as I ventured in exploring the wisdom that is hiding in nature. It is true that God can speak to His people through various means. He can decide to speak through people, situations, or even through nature.

God has inspired me to write this book because of the different scenes of nature I came across in the course of my adventure. He gave me an understanding of the things that are not seen, as He made me see more than nature. He opened my eyes to see beyond the ordinary and my heart to understand the invisible when He spoke to me through all I saw.

    Introduction

T he premise of this book is the revelation I received from God when I went on an adventure, with some experience I had in various places while I was being inspired through the deep wisdom and insight that God reveals through nature. It is of a truth that God can speak to His people through various means. He can decide to speak through people, situations, or even through nature.

God has inspired me to write this book through the different scenes of nature I came across in the course of my adventures. He gave me an understanding of the things that are not seen. God made me see more than nature; He opened my ‘eyes’ to see beyond the ordinary and my heart to understand the invisible. He spoke to me through all I saw.

This book is meant to challenge, motivate, and stir hope in you. It has been compiled in very simple language so that everyone can understand. The Scriptures are quoted with reference from the Bible so that you can read it anywhere you are without having to look for a Bible.

Dear reader, I do not want you to read this book just like other literature because it is meant to affect your life in some specific areas. So read it prayerfully, meditate on the contents, and rise with determination to take positive steps in areas where it affects your life.

I wish you a great and inspiring time of reading.

    Chapter 1

    Life Is an Adventure

    11186.png

    Life is full of choices to make;

some are right and others are wrong choices.

I t was a Christmas holiday. Everyone in the university was planning to go home to spend time with his or her family and enjoy the break while it lasted. I, on the other hand, had different plans.

I told my friends I was not going home because I intended to embark on an adventure in Okene town (Kogi State, Nigeria). Some felt sorry for me, others tried to discourage me, and those who would not smiled and wished me well. Despite the façade they put up, I could hear their minds screaming, ‘What kind of a weird person is this?’

In every man’s life, there will always come a time when you will have to make a choice that will affect your destiny for either good or otherwise.

    24704.png

That day, I discovered something new about the whole issue. When you have a vision you are trying to pursue, you will always find people with different opinions about it. Some will think you are just wasting your time while some others may think you are not being reasonable. Well, you cannot really blame them because people hardly say positive things about a vision conceived by others, except when they can see the same through the visionary’s eyes.

This reminds me of an instruction I received from God which required me to stay away from home for a while so He could prove a point in my life. When my friends and some associates saw that I did not go home during the break, they began to ask questions and make all manner of appeals, as they felt I was running away from something at home.

Those I even took the time to offer an explanation to still felt I should go home against my belief, but I knew it was not yet time for me to go. To an extent, some of those questions and appeals confused me, but I refused to be distracted because I knew what I needed to do at that time. I was just like the children of Issachar who had an understanding of the times and knew what Israel was supposed to do at a particular point in time (1 Chr. 12: 32).

The evil that a man does has a way of catching up with him.

Jesus experienced the same at the wedding in Galilee.

‘And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus said unto him, They have no wine.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.’ (John 2: 3–4)
