    Mathijs Koenraadt /mɑtɛis kunraːt/ (1980) writes about people's struggles with the collectives trying to assimilate them. He denies the materialist worldview, which says everything is mere matter in motion, that people have no free will, or that selfish genes determine our behaviors. Instead, Koenraadt offers a view of the world as minds competing for power. He coined the phrase 'ignorant god' to signify a collective Being unaware of its creative powers.
