    WHY I WROTE THIS BOOK

    I have been running retreats since 2000, teaching people how to live in a better, more balanced and healthy way. Every evening I share a different meditation for people to try and practice. Without fail, the Heart Meditation is the one that touches people on the deepest level and it is the one that they always want to know the words to or to have a recording of.

    It touches people in such a deep way because it reconnects people with the love inside themselves, with their own hearts. In our essence, we are joyful, loving, self-sufficient, compassionate beings, yet growing up in the modern world we forget and get disconnected from this.

    I have always had a desire to understand myself and my world better and this meant that 14 years of my life were spent living, learning and working in various countries and cultures around the planet. In particular, I learned a lot about myself and our potential connection to spirit and living in a harmonious way from studying and practicing yoga, Buddhism,
