Santiago doesn't know if he will ever find the treasure, or if he'll fail to overcome all the obstacles that lay in front of him. This book has made me aware about omens and how we should pay attention to them. While reading this, I was reminded of several occasions in my life where I encountered such. This has made me understand why things like those appear every now and then. This summary made me feel sensitive to what the world is trying to tell me. Before, I just brush them away as I was engaged in a lot of distractions during the past years. I wish I had read this when I was younger. But any way, it is never too late to reach for our dreams.
