The Spiritual World and How It Influences Your Everyday life - Marques The Writer

    Chapter 1: Godly Spirits

For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities — all things have been created by Him and for Him.           -Colossians 1:15-17

    ––––––––

The Godly spiritual forces are here to influence us to do the things that are according to God's will.  It prompts us to love each other, to seek after Godly desires, and to be charitable-among other things.  The Godly forces includes the Trinity and the host of angels.

Some speculate and act like angels and the spiritual world are non-existent, which is far from the truth.  The scriptural reference for this chapter further brings this realization to light.  It tells you that he created everything that is both VISIBLE and INVISIBLE.

By the scripture stating that he created the invisible and then proceeds to mention thrones, dominions, rulers, and authorities-one can easily conclude that God definitely have his angels in place and ready to work.

One common myth about angels is that they are being created on a daily basis.  Throughout the years, I’ve heard many speculate that when a baby dies that they transition into an angel, however, there is nothing in the bible that is indicative of this.  It does, however, indicate that the angels were all created at the same time and for the purposes of serving God.  It was through the creation of Angels that demons even exist.  As they were once angels of the light that was cast down with satan.

    Difference between Soul and Spirit

Unlike most of the being that exist in our world, humans are enclosed with a physical body.  The fact that we can see and touch each other makes it difficult for some to understand about the spiritual realm and the beings that are within.

It is very important to understand that not only does the body encompass your spirit but also your soul.  These two are separate and is often mistaken for being one and the same.  The spirit is the core of your body.  It is the aspect of us that will either go to Heaven or hell and that contains our intuition and conscious.  The soul is what embodies your mind, body, and soul.

There are also times when God may test our spirit also.  This statement is proven to be true by reading Deuteronomy 13: 1

"If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says, Let us follow other gods (gods you have not known) and let us worship them, you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul."

    Angels and Their Assignments

Most of us have heard of angels ever since the early days of our youth, however most of us don’t understand the complexity nor the roles that these Godly beings entail.

There are nine types of angels that have very specific duties and are classified among three major groups- that are too referred to as choir or spheres.  Though certain types of angels are placed into our lives by assignment, they do not possess the ability to go again our own free will.

    First Sphere

    Cherub

Cherub (Cherubim plural) are known for their power and are heavily regarded for carrying out huge assignments for God.  When Adam and Eve was expelled from the Garden of Eden, God sent the Cherubim to encamp about the garden along with fiery swords as a means of guarding the tree of life.

The book of Ezekiel provides brief insight as to what these beings look like.  These angels have four faces and four wings.  The faces are in the resemblance of a man, lion, eagle, and ox.  Two of the wings are used for flying and the other two for covering themselves.

    Seraph

Seraph (Seraphim plural) are the highest ranking angels and are the only ones with six wings.  Its name means burning ones.  Seraphim are assigned to encamp around the throne of God.  Though they have six wings all of them are not used for flying, but for covering certain parts of
