HE ART OF SEDUCTION IS A BOOK BY ROBERT GREENE. It explores the idea that seduction is a form of art and is a means to power. It is one of history’s greatest war technique and an unassailable form of power, according to the author. Empires have been toppled, and elections were won through it. Even great minds became slaves of it. The author presents maneuvers and strategies that explain the seductive process, including rituals that lead to its mastery. The author says he wrote the book to help readers be armed with weapons of persuasion and charm so that others cannot resist, not knowing why or how. He explains that on the one hand is the person who seduces, and on the other is the target. One should know oneself and what attracts people to him or her, including one’s character. A seductive personality is important just as paying attention to the target is equally important. The book is divided into two parts. The first part, entitled The Seductive Character, explores the different kinds of seducers, nine kinds in all, and the Anti-Seducer. The author teaches readers to realize what inherent seductive traits they have. The second part, called The Seductive Process, provides 24 strategies that tell how readers can seduce through various ways. They can make the target surrender, cast a spell, and break resistance for example. Between these two main parts of the book is the chapter featuring 18 types
