About this ebook

Our paths in life represent a journey in search for what we're meant to do and who we are meant to become. In a world full of information and distractions, we lose the focus of finding ourselves.

Do you feel stuck where you are in life?
Do you feel you were meant to do more but not sure where to start?

Heartdriven helps guide you on your journey in life, by becoming aware of the expectations you have attached yourself to in the outer world. Heartdriven helps you to become an observer of your thoughts, focusing on the beliefs of everything you have learned, experienced, understood and accepted, but also creating the limits in which you live. You will understand how perceptions and emotions limit your decisions to becoming greater.

Heartdriven is about exploring the world within; The inner being of one's self. This includes:
-Expanding our understanding
-Detaching from expectations
-Realizing the dangers of the patterns that we have created and how it affects our long term well being
-The beliefs that stop us from the growth we need
-Learning how emotions play a role in our lives more than we think

Heartdriven will help you realize that there is nothing that you cannot be or do. Everything you seek to become is within. Take this journey in finding it.

    Introduction

    Surface

Many years ago I had a very early shift, and there was an individual who would usually catch the same bus and sit in the same seat; he couldn’t see and had a guide dog to help him. I would also observe others on the bus looking frustrated, tired and unhappy, living in a pattern they have become unconscious of. As I saw, I realized they were unaware of what they had. I thought to myself, imagine if that individual with no sight suddenly received it and could see everything he ever dreamed of. How would he feel? Would he be the happiest person on that bus? Would he be the happiest person in the world? I believe so. Imagine going through life blind, and then suddenly being given the gift of vision—how would we feel? Now pause and hold on to that feeling: this is how we should feel every day because most of us do have the gift of sight. We just have become unconscious of it. Though many of us are fortunate to have the gift of sight, there are those who have to live through life without it. As we live, many things that are seen all around us can be perceived and interpreted differently by everyone, but there also lies much that is unseen. In this world, we will all have different experiences that shape our lives and beliefs. Even though our experiences will be different, the lessons the universe tries to teach us are the same.

We live in a world that is continuously changing. We live in a time when our ideas, information and skills can direct us to a better life if we allow ourselves to be conscious of what we have become unconscious of. We are all on a journey in this life. Through this journey, we will experience many emotions and feelings. They are all there to teach us something. It may seem like we are going through this journey in life alone, but we all are going through this journey. The universe we live in connects everything. We can say that the universe was created for connection and everything in it is connected, making it what it is. We come across each other’s lives for a reason. We are all connected and teaching one another in some form.

We are all a loop of collective beliefs and ideas. We are who we are based on what we perceive, from how we interpret information around us, to the meanings and views we give to our past and present experiences. We live our lives based on these beliefs and will continue to receive the results from them because this is what we have come to know and accept. The results we obtain in each area of our lives are based on our understanding of them. When we say I know, whether it be in area’s of money, relationships or health, we are also saying I understand. But what results are we receiving from our understanding? In being aware of the present patterns we have created, we allow ourselves to begin shaping who we are becoming.

This book is also a loop of information with all that is taught aligns with one another. The key is in allowing ourselves to begin our journey of understanding through the seeking of answers from everything we think and have thought to believe. Through the process, we will also notice certain areas of our beliefs will align, affecting other parts of our life. Our journey requires observing what we have become unconscious of, allowing ourselves to remain open to exploring who we were meant to become. There are many things within us that we need to search for, to create a better foundation in which we will live. Throughout this book, I will be mostly using the term we instead of you because in evolving and searching for a better life, we are all seeking it. In specific parts of this book, I do use the term you to help you reflect and observe in finding awareness.

In Chapter 1, I talk about how we are the sculptors of our lives. We have what we have because of the choices we made up to this present moment; at some point, we accepted this is how life is. In Chapter 2, I explain the meanings we give to what has passed creates who we are. Through all that we have observed and come to know, we shape and create the meaning behind I am. In Chapter 3, I focus on the balances that exist within us (our inner world) and externally (our outer world). How we also perceive influences where we focus, leading to the choices of whether we should act or react and the results that may come from it. In Chapter 4, I talk about understanding where our energy flows, how it can keep us where we are and how we can align it toward a better path in life. In Chapter 5, I explain that life has many teachers: from those who were involved in our upbringing, to life itself, which includes situations, events, experiences and individuals who come across our lives. To search for the lessons is to expand our understanding, also allowing ourselves to become conscious of change that is needed. In Chapter 6, I talk about the limited time we have here, as we are just visitors passing. Learn how to accept and be in harmony with what has and will be coming.

The Truths that Enter Our Lives

    I Am the Sculptor

We are what we understand, and we are what we perceive; therefore, we are what we are.

We are the sculptors of our own lives, chiseling away at creating and discovering ourselves. By carving each piece, we expand and explore the universe and its teachings for us, accepting what is meant to shape us. Through the sculpting there will be challenges that come; even if we try to pass the chisel to another sculptor for help, in the end, we will realize that we, the sculptor, will always
