Description

Brazilian duo Anhanguera step up for episode 5 of the Gangstercast. Dudu Palandre and Décio Deep have been flying the flag for underground house music in Brazil since 2004 when they started to appear on labels including Robsoul, Oomph, Tango, Minority and their own Maracuja. They are now well established globally and tour with their self-styled "dirty, sexy, fat and groovy" sound.
The duo say, "House music is our religion. We have always been loyal to house music, no matter what the fashion is", an ethos we respect to the full!  Their exclusive mix for the Gangstercast was recorded without any prior planning: "We started mixing and choosing the tracks to build the right flow as if we were playing live.  We tried to mix it all from deep to tech tracks, new and old stuff because the good house music is timeless and styleless."

The GANGSTERCAST DJ mix series comes from the I'M A HOUSE GANGSTER movement. A HOUSE GANGSTER has the undying commitment and passion for House music, they know that this music is not a trend, it's a culture. The mixes all come from the DJs that follow this culture and love and respect the sound - some are established names on the worldwide scene, some are the future stars of tomorrow, and they all represent the raw, underground essence of real House music. Each mix in the GANGSTERCAST series allows the DJ to present their own take on House music and what it means to them. Featured DJs will include DJ Sneak, Tripmastaz, Ramon Tapia, Doc Martin, The Martinez Brothers, Phil Weeks, Hector Moralez, DJ W!LD, Andrea Oliva, Arturo Garces and many others.
