      Great book, short and simply to follow, I found myself analyzing myself as I read and learning a lot from this read.

      What I liked was that the book covered many common manipulation tactics which could help someone identify signs of manipulation in their own relationships. However, I found some of the examples presented to be quite trivial and common, for example *spoiler* proposing in public. Just like how not all midnight door knocks are by ghosts, not all actions listed are manipulative or at least not done with malicious intent. I felt that is an important distinction that was not emphasized enough in the book.
