    Ali Sam - Barbaralba part 2. This book was a long time coming and still isn't finished. Oddly similar to the idea of an albatross hanging around one's neck. Or however the saying went. Albatross is the bird that gave Barbaralba her name. That is a random fact that doesn't matter much. Other than the fact that there is something grand about an albatross. And Barbaralba is a fisher girl. Or woman. Or Drave. And they eat fish. Fish eat fish too. So the story will be in the Castle City Drave village mostly for these 6 chapters. The Old Man's soup and brew kitchen. Kitchen is a good place to eat and drink and do business. And of course. The library. A small event, it would seem, but notice how Barbaralba snaps up a couple of books to learn about war and weapons.
    If you are going to do something big, you need to learn about it. Barbaralba might look like a little girl, but she is killer tough and doesn't miss a thing. So, even though the odd look like they are against her, she has the power to attract good people.
    Part 3 should come soon.

    Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada 1960. Moved to London, Ontario, Canada in 1967. Started playing hockey and piano. Went to Sir Wilfred Laurier High School and played the trumpet.Studied Architectural Technology at Fanshawe College of Applied Arts and Sciences. Started playing guitar and writing a little. On a trip to the mountains in 1982 with a friend I decided, or was awakened to the knowledge that I was going to pursue writing. Graduated 1984 and moved to Toronto.Moved to Saarbrücken, Germany in 1993.Have traveled many places in North, Middle and South America and Europe.Besides reading and writing also work on photography and music.
