This volume contains an English translation of Maurice Maeterlinck's fascinating 1901 treatise “Wisdom And Destiny”, translated by Alfred Sutro. Maurice Polydore Marie Bernard Maeterlinck (1862–1949) was a Belgian poet, playwright, essayist who was awarded the 1911 Nobel Prize in literature. Contents include: “Maurice Maeterlinck”, “Introduction”, and “Wisdom and Destiny”.
