About this ebook

The love story of two soldiers from opposing armies, told by their child long after the fact. By turns hilarious, touching, sexy and disturbing, this unexpected tale had me hooked immediately. The art is perfect for the story, and has clean lines and a great sense of movement and emotion.

Really doesn't read all that different from 1960s DC space opera, except for the sex.

A little too graphic on the sex and language, but overall a very good beginning. Character development is good. Plot line is chugging along without too many story lines, and enough drive to keep your interest. Pencils and color work is way above average. Four stars may get increased if the series continues to develop.

This novel just re-affirmed that I'm just not a graphic novel person. I'd like to see this as a written novel with the graphic novel used as a "second screen", similar to "A Wrinkle in Time"

This is, for someone who is getting back into comics after YEARS of not bothering with them, one of those really great finds. I'll be continuing to read these. Though I don't really care for dystopian stories, the characters and topics in this are worth braving the nastiness of the future. I highly recommend it.
