PACK LIGHT, RIDE HARD
I really enjoyed reading about Julia Hobson’s Highland fling (as it were) in the June magazine. Her story of heading by bike and train from my local trails in the Surrey Hills to Aviemore, then crossing the Cairngorms to reach Blair Atholl, had me longing for an escape from our lockdown restriction to local trails. I got my Ordnance survey maps out and eagerly pieced the route together from the clues in the text.
