People can’t live with change if there’s not a changeless core inside them.
—Stephen R. Covey
Preface
The world has changed completely since Dr. Stephen R. Covey first released his groundbreaking work The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People in 1989. What has not changed, however, is the wisdom contained within the pages of his book, and the positive changes it has made in over 40 million readers’ lives. This new edition is a compact version based on the wisdom and solid advice of the original book. The 7 Habits on the Go: Timeless Wisdom for a Rapidly Changing World is designed for those who are besieged by our in-a-rush culture and have little time to sit down with a good book and relax.
As a reader of the original book myself, I cannot stress enough how much following Dr. Covey’s advice has changed my mindset, my way of life, and my own productivity. I remember when I first read it, I carried the book everywhere with me. On each step of my journey, Dr. Covey’s principles helped me radically rethink possibilities and make decisions I might not have were it not for his stellar advice.
This edition is designed as a handy go-to guide that you can easily reference when you have just a few minutes between meetings or are stuck in line waiting. The electronic version is particularly handy to load onto your phone, so that you can carry it with you wherever you go. All the lessons of the original book but in a fast
