If we can learn how to deal with our reactions to life's situations, we will be well on our way towards solving difficulties, and creating more peace, contentment and happiness.

Suppose you have a fire burning in the fireplace. If you observe the fire long enough without feeding it, what happens to the fire? It burns low and goes out by itself. You are left with a deeper understanding of the nature of fire. Fire burns from fuel. Not fed, it goes out.
