‘WE HAD A PRETTY SEVERE EPIDEMIC’
Professor Salim Abdool Karim, chairperson of the Ministerial Advisory Committee (MAC) on Covid-19, says that he could “write a book” on things that should have been done differently to manage the spread of the disease in South Africa, which imposed one of the strictest lockdowns in the world on 26 March.
