    PREFACE & ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

    This story was written during marriage therapy sessions with Father God. It tells how God used the very thing that had become an 18-year wedge in our marriage. My husband Alex fell in love with the game of tennis over 18 years ago. In the beginning I hated the game because he loved it so much. He substituted a game of tennis for many important things in life. I used to tell him, if I could be as dedicated to what God called me too as you are to the game of tennis my witness would be much more powerful and effective. If I would just endeavor to recklessly abandon everything like you do for tennis. I want my compassion to win the lost to be that strong. So I begin mimicking his patterns towards tennis. I increased my prayer life and study time etc. I wanted to see more of his lifestyle so that I could incorporate it into the ministry so I asked about going with Alex to play tennis. Alex played so long at the court so to keep from becoming angry with him I started taking my tablet and a notebook just to jot down significant habits I saw that would be useful to me in the ministry.  Alex smiled a lot. He greeted everyone and kept moving. He was focused on the game not the people. No matter the economic status he played his game. I saw that this focused mindset is where he gained honor. I noticed that everyone shook his hand in honor. As they watched him walk away onto the court they gave high accolades. I was beginning to like going with him to the local courts to play tennis which soon turned into travel and writing!

    Something great was happening! I noticed he felt honored by my attendance which seemed to bring some type of healing for him. As a result, at
