TENNIS WIFE
PREFACE & ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
This story was written during marriage therapy sessions with Father God. It tells how God used the very thing that had become an 18-year wedge in our marriage. My husband Alex fell in love with the game of tennis over 18 years ago. In the beginning I hated the game because he loved it so much. He substituted a game of tennis for many important things in life. I used to tell him, if I could be as dedicated to what God called me too as you are to the game of tennis my witness would be much more powerful and effective. If I would just endeavor to recklessly abandon everything like you do for tennis. I want my compassion to win the lost to be that strong. So I begin mimicking his patterns towards tennis. I saw that this focused mindset is where he gained honor. I noticed that everyone shook his hand in honor. As they watched him walk away onto the court they gave high accolades. I was beginning to like going with him to the local courts to play tennis which soon turned into travel and writing!
Something great was happening! I noticed he felt honored by my attendance which seemed to bring some type of healing for him. As a result, at
