The Three Faerie Sisters and the Big Bad Wolf
The Three Faerie Sisters and the Big Bad Wolf
The three sisters, Lisa, Greta and Mildred, wondered if they would ever again see Yoruk, the little man who had told them they were really and truly faeries. You see, they had so many questions to ask him, like the name of their birth mother – and father. The little man had not even mentioned their father. They also wanted to ask him where they had lived before the unfortunate day, when their mother had died. Moreover, how did she die? Was it murder? Pausing, uncertain as to whether he should tell them or not, the little man eventually whispered, I was busy...watching the big bad wolf.
The big bad wolf?
the three sisters asked, quite in surprise.
Nodding his head slowly, methodically, he replied, Yes, the big bad wolf.
As in the fairytale?
asked Lisa.
Nodding again, Yoruk said that it was.
Are you sure?
asked Mildred. It is only a story, not real!
Offering Mildred his full attention, the little man, eyeballing her intently, his piercing green eyes burning
