    It is time to stop those things that want to stop you. It is God’s will to stop everything that wants to remove you from his plans for your life. And you already know that his plan for you is to have the best of joy, peace, prosperity, mercy, good health and to possess all your possessions. Even if you are under his judgment, it can be reversed today and you will again start swimming in his grace. We also looked at other’s experiences and the modern Israel’s version of Never Again. Why did they adopt this slogan and how far have they gone to enforce it?

    Sure, Israel has today become one of the most powerful nations on earth (It has the best intelligent organization – Mossad and the third best army in the world) not just because God is with them, but because they have also vowed never to allow the Jews go through those most dehumanizing treatments, pains, sorrow and deaths they experienced in the unfortunate, avoidable events of the last century. Today, they lead in not just defense, but also in agriculture, ICT, science and medicine. Yes, we can say never again today!

      Never Again!

          The LORD says, ‘I will give you back what you lost to the striping locusts, the cutting locusts, the swarming locusts, and the hopping locusts... My People will never again be disgraced like this.  Joel 2: 25-27

        Wow! This is one of those portions of the bible that I call the ‘crazy verses’.  I mean, those portions that make me feel like bursting in the spirit. The word of God is truly alive, sharp, powerful and dynamic. And this is why it is hard to do without it. Sure, the messages in this book will be declarative. I mean, I will make pronouncements that will forever change your life. Yes, His word is that powerful! Remember, it was just through it that all you are seeing today were made. God has come to restore to you all that you’ve lost! And never again shall you be ashamed in Jesus’ name!

          This is time for your restoration. What have you lost in the past? What has the enemy taken away from you? What did you lose because of your disobedience, your mistakes, ignorance or the enemy attacks? Look at it being restored now as you go through this book. As there is time for everything, there is also a time to lose and another time to recover. This is your time to recover! I know the situation looks hopeless, irredeemable, terminal, incurable, closed, but you will meet the God that makes all things possible. Yes, all things! If He could bring back a buried corpse to life after four days, then, what do you think He cannot do? Or is your situation worse than that? Tell me.

        Look at our main text from the book of Joel again. God is saying that He will bring back what you lost. It is always painful to lose something, especially, something very dear. You may not understand what we are talking about here unless you have passed through that experience. In fact, some people don’t totally recover after they have lost their loved ones, their jobs, their business capital, property, positions, spouses, children, etc. I have seen so many like that. They just start dying gradually, immediately after the loss. They start dying emotionally, spiritually and even physically. If you have found yourself in this situation, listen, the word of God has come to totally heal and help you to recover.

        I’m already hearing somebody asking, What of the dead loved ones, how do you recover that?  Listen, God can give you another person that will also fit into that person’s place. They can come as spouses, as children or as friends. True!  Anyhow, but He makes sure that whatever you have lost in one you will gain in another. And the joy of the later will always overshadow the pain of the past. I thought I would never recover from the loss of my mum, she dead when I was just six years old. And each time I went through difficulties I remember her. She was loving, beautiful, gracious, very kind and extremely hardworking. Joy Okwuchi Agbo was an epitome of beauty, kindness and strength. True. She passed on barely 26 years old and already had a thriving business, including a distributorship with Nigeria Bottling Company (Coca-Cola) by 1977. Up till now (42 years after she had gone), people still tell stories of her kindness, love and generosity. She was extraordinarily generous.

        Just recently, a woman told me how she was generous to her and others and how she promised to bring some clothes to her but that was not to be because she passed on days after that. My God! I couldn’t contain that. I told the woman that my mum is not dead and that the promise will be fulfilled even better than she intended. I ran to the shop and got good
