Beschreibung

This utterly clever and fun story is the perfect read aloud!

When Cow gets her hooves on the farmer's car, she takes it for a wild ride through the country. Moooo! But a bump in the road brings this joy ride to a troublesome end. Moo-moo. . . . Has Cow learned her lesson about living life in the fast lane? Moo?

The Geisel Award winning creators tell a complete story with just one word--MOO--in this imaginative story that will have readers laughing one moment and on the edge of their seats the next, as it captures the highs and lows of a mischievous cow's very exciting day.

Very little text in the book. Most of the conversation involves a variation of the word moo. This would be a great book for emerging reader to tell the story on their own. Cute illustrations.

This book consists on of the same word thorughout the entire book. The word "moo," is used in differnet contexts. Though it is inly one word it tells its story through the pictures and the way the reader says the words. I think it could be a book to help teach young students how different punctuation marks can change the way someone says a word or sentence.

Who knew one word could pack such a storytelling punch? LaRochelle uses a very limited vocabulary to tell the story of one cow's grand adventure. Everyone will want to join in and read along - there's only one word to know!

A cute, Mo Willems-style book with virtually no text. A cow sees a car for sale and decides to take a drive. Kids will enjoy the silliness.
  • (4/5)
One cow, one word, and a whole lot of fun.
  • (5/5)
Who would have thought that I would love a story that contains a single word? This story depicted by the illustrations is funny and if you really get into your moos then you may even laugh out loud.

Great visual story telling although I feel like the ending sends an iffy message. Only the word Moo and the pictures are used to tell the story.

    Best storytime book ever!

I love how the author/illustrator can tell an entire story with one word. This would be so fun to do at story time!!
