About this ebook
Are you striving for long-term success in your professional and personal life? Then, according to Stephen R. Covey, you should be ready to work on your character, your inner attitude and way of thinking. Because true change always happens from the inside out. Focusing on methods that only work on the surface, such as learned success techniques, be it improvements in communicative competence, rhetoric training and manipulation techniques, will be able to achieve short-term success, but will not lead to a sustainable improvement in his life situation.
Only through self-reflection, through integrity and ethics, through the development of a win-win mentality in which the wishes and goals of fellow human beings are also included in decisions, as well as through the creation of synergies, will one come closer to one's true goals in life and ultimately find peace of mind. Therefore, it is not so much about techniques and tricks that can be learned quickly and lead to quick success, but rather about conveying a philosophy of life that follows higher, universal principles that apply to the coexistence of people and can be applied sustainably in every area of life, whether on a professional, private or social level.
"The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" give everyone the opportunity to take their destiny into their own hands and show how one's own paradigm, one's personal perception of the world, can be gradually changed so that it is in harmony with the universal principles. The decisive factor is not so much the behaviors, but the deep thoughts one uses as well as the essential basic traits of one's character.

OVERVIEW
WHAT IS THE CORE MESSAGE OF THE 7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE
?
Those who strive for long-term success in their professional and private lives should be prepared to work on their character. True change always happens from the inside out. Focusing on methods that only have a superficial effect, be it learned success techniques such as improving one's communicative competence, rhetoric training and manipulation techniques, will achieve short-term success but will not lead to a sustainable improvement in one's life situation.
Only through self-reflection, through integrity and ethics, through the development of a win-win mentality in which the wishes and goals of fellow human beings are also included in decisions, as well as through the creation of synergies, will one come closer to one's true goals in life and find peace of mind.
Long-term personality development therefore requires not only an external change in behaviour, but a profound change in character. This does not happen overnight, but is a continuous process that must be internalised. However, only those who are willing to work on their character, break negative habits, question their value system, accept the universal principles of human coexistence and are ultimately prepared to become a better person will achieve lasting success in their lives and increase their personal effectiveness.
The way we judge other people and see and understand our environment is based on our paradigm, that is, our fundamental way of thinking. You can also call a paradigm our own perception and interpretation of this world. If we change our paradigm, then our perspective on the world will also change and with it our way of seeing and behaving.
The most effective paradigms are based on higher, universal principles that apply to human coexistence, namely honesty, justice, competence and trust. This is the standard by which most people measure each other. The more one's paradigm is in line with the universal principles, the more it is in tune with the world. The The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
are intended to do just that, namely to gradually change one's own paradigm so that it is in harmony with the universal principles.
The first 3 paths form the basis for developing one's own character traits. The following 3 ways refer to situations in which we interact with other people. The 7th path refers to the effectiveness of our life in all areas. All 7 paths give the opportunity to bring about a change from within to build a character of
