It is not the circumstances but one's own decisions that determine fate. Every human being is born with the ability to be happy and to live his dreams. There is no reason to envy others who lead the life you dream of. Everyone can take his life and thus his success into his own hands. You just have to decide for it.
To do this, three fundamental changes in life are needed:
1. raise your standards: if you want to make changes in life, you must raise your standards and never settle for less.
2. change your belief system: to achieve your goals, you need to have the firm conviction that you can achieve them, and this before you start acting. To do this, you have to eliminate destructive belief patterns and values and replace them with new ones. The inner system of values and control decides what you think, feel and how you act in different life situations.
3. changing your habits: Life is not determined by the things we do now and then, but by the things we do regularly. It is up to each person to get rid of bad habits, to make the right decisions, to control his behaviour and to ask the right questions to get ahead in life.

Anthony Robbins presents methods for a rapid change process. They come from the field of personality development and Neuroassociative Conditioning (NAK), a further development of Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP). They evoke language changes through new neurological associations that lead to altered behaviour and emotions. In particular, the importance of language in transformation is described and it is shown how certain words and metaphors can change a person's mood and their interpersonal relationships.
The book is written in the ego-form in an appealing and motivating style. Numerous real-life stories are used, including the success stories of people who have participated in Anthony Robbins' workshops, as well as stories of well-known personalities such as Bill Gates, George Bush and Mahatma Gandhi. The author also uses his own life story to vividly explain his personal transformation principles and success strategy. He describes his thought processes, how he came to certain conclusions.
The style of writing is clear and methodical.
