      8 am, train to Frankfurt airport, sparkling wine, salmon gourmet, duty free, whisky tasting, Russian from Siberia, has lived in Colombia and Paris. A lot of fun together and we entertain ourselves. She has studied environmental engineering, speaks many languages, German, English, Spanish, we mix together through all the languages and have lots of fun. Condor flight, Bombay Gin and vodka for free and for nothing, and we brought our mouth water along. Celebrations, life enjoyed. 50 percent professionals and 50 percent posers on the plane. Principessa has cardiovascular problems at the airport in Habana, after the flight. First contact with Cuba, all help out and take care of her. Entry into the country worked well. Habana, here we are, we get a taxi with taxi driver Andi to Bellevue Hotel, Deauville.

      sea view, huge, noble, room 1307, 13 floor, and at the famous waterfront promenade Malecon underneath and the best view over the city. Centrally located all within walking distance. Hover above. The night enjoyed, the first one in. La Habana with the best view of Habana. Sip whisky on the balcony in best mood.

      Bad sleep, loud at night, breakfast, super fruits, eggs, vegetables, toast, omelet, and so on, very positively surprised from the surrounding and what surrounds you, good enough for the whole day. Views from the room over Habana enjoyed, best weather, smooth sea, blue water. Cuban rum bought at Hotel, Cuba, aged 7 years in barrels and a city map too, to do so. Good mood. On the waterfront first Cuban rum enjoyed and the city. Move on, people are friendly and cordial and the city is quiet impressive. Linger on benches and linger with rum. All people are individual and have mojo, and friends look into your eyes and deep into you. Encounters are childish, children and Barbarossa and Principessa. Best atmosphere, warm and human and alive and fun and uninhibited. No inhibitions, interpersonal, free body language like ours, no cramp, people relaxed, many couples sit around for hours and talk and laugh, everyone harmonious and happy, funny, rum and cigars.

      Old cars, impressive streets in shape and impressive how people live. People are egocentric, real, they are good to us. Both, we and them have FUERTE, Barbarossa and Principessa and Cuba. Woman on park bench asked where are shops? Very positive spirit. A few shops found, few but genuine products, good for us, we do not need much, but with rum, cerveza, wine, and cigar, life is a dream. Street stalls discovered with Comidas Rapidos, hamburger. Book stores at every corner.

      People and Habana enjoyed and they are watching us. A cerveza and a coffee in first local bar, great atmosphere, Castillo de Farnés. A warm welcome and great fun with man and woman behind the bar. Salsa music, jump and dance, two funky women and the mood explodes. Pictures taken together and a heartfelt adoption.

      Barbarossa is talking to Matthias an American from Los Angeles, married with a Cuban woman, he has a German passport and an american passport, speaks German, was previously married to a Mexican woman, from Baja California, marriage went wrong, the marriage with the first Cuban woman goes wrong too, she left and went to Italy with his daughter, lives now in Milano. Well, everything ends well, he has a farm and is happy together now with another Cuban woman, lives 30 minutes away from Habana, his zodiac sign is, Taurus.

      It was great meeting him, the real people recognize the real in seconds and that is what it is all about.

      Cubans, he says and describes them, huge creative potential, educated and intellectual. He is a photographer and writer. He says, many Cubans want to live somewhere else, it's too boring where you grew up, other Cubans want to remain in Cuba as they are so proud of the country and feel comfortable in the country.

      Bye, we move on. What happens next. Mega rain showers, streets flooded, watch and wait. We meet an old man and talk. His cash is gone due to the rain. Cerveza and coffee in a bar, then waterfront promenade Malecon, bar right in front of the sea, funky mood and funky people. Rum enjoyed. Alberto, Canadian-Cuban, travelagent hit, lives in Canada and has got a beetle, built 1960, beetle, photo shooting, we talk and keep talking and everybody has time and takes his time, make friends in shortest time and be not irritated to be accosted by new friends.

      Malecon Waterfront, musicians come towards us and sing, very funky and a warm hello, 3 people and we in the best mood.

      Back to the hotel and the day went well. Info girl, cigars bought and smoked together, we laugh a lot, she gives us tips for Habana, very welcome. At night on balcony waterfront views and Habana enjoyed with cigar and wine, Soroa vino rosado de mesa from San Cristobol. At night people sing songs along the waterfront.
