MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS FOR TYPE C-275 ROTARY TABLE Proper care will materially lengthen the service life

of the rotary table. Therefore, these maintenance instructions should be carefully followed. 1. The gear, pinion, shaft bearings and table bearing are oil lubricated. Check oil level at least once a day. Table should remain stationary for five minutes before checking. Keep oil level between high and low marks on the oil level dip stick. 2. Under normal conditions oil should be changed every six months when working and whenever the rotary table is stored. To change oil remove plug at bottom of the main housing and plug at other end of shaft housing, drain, replace both plugs and fill to high mark on oil level dip stick with oil specified below. 3. The lock pawl pins and lock pawl handle pins are grease lubricated. Grease one fitting on each lock pawl every day. Use any good multi-purpose grease. 4. The cover should be lifted off periodically and any mud which may have accumulated around the table rim or lock pawl mechanism should be removed. Do not attempt to remove such mud by washing down since this may force mud and water into the gear table enclosure. 5. Inspect master bushing and table bore periodically for any damage which could affect fit of the bushing in bore. Never drive bushing into place by sledging.
