M/s. Mate Consultant Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata, has placed an order with you in July 06 for one set of 9 Panel 3.3 KV VCB Switch Board for our Pump House for Blast Furnace No. 2 which is being rebuilt and scheduled for blowing-in on 23.06.07. We have received your Inspection Call letter bearing ref. ER/MC/RD-0205 dtd. 02.05.07 for Inspection of the above switch board on 25.05.07. During his visit to Kolkata on 10.05.07 our Shri G. K. Ghosh, AGM (Proj.) paid a visit to your Taratala factory to make an assessment of the manufacturing progress. He was in for a rude shock when your Shri Somnath Datta, Manager Production, indicated to him that the concerned switch board will be taken up for assembly work only after 27th of May and can be made ready for inspection only on 10th of June. 07 - which is not at all acceptable to us. We are very disturbed to note the adverse developments taken place for the manufacturing of the subject switch board which in turn will totally jeopardize the commissioning of B. F. No. 2, which is scheduled to be blown-in on 23.06.07 as mentioned above. In view of the above, we would request your personal intervention so that the switch board is made ready for inspection on 25.05.07 as already offered in your letter dtd. 02.05.07.
